The moment I turned it on, I lost 5 hours to it. The game is incredibly well written, with some outstanding art (especially on the horror pieces.) Just like their game Slay the Princess, there are multiple routes to go through. This game is outstanding and I was completely hooked. I will give one piece of advice. Always pick the ability to talk to animals. While it does come with some funny comedy, it's also used expertly to enhance the horror as well. I feel like you're honestly missing out on quite a bit if you can't talk to animals because it just adds so much

I used to smoke meth and this game is the more difficult of the two to put down. It is possibly the best game I have ever played. It replaced my psychiatric medication and I have formed a legitimate parasocial relationship with a cartoon. I'm not exactly sure what sort of blood magick rituals black tabby are doing, but I hope they never stop. Seriously, this game is incredible. This is my first steam review. I thought this game was going to be extremely whack but I snagged it after feeling as though slay the princess had left a profound emptiness inside me that I couldnt fill with anything else. Scarlet Hollow filled it and expanded it and truly ruined everything for me. 10/10 stella is now my sleep paralysis demon and I keep having to do annoying stuff like go to my job and talk to my wife instead of rizzing up sprites and barking at ineffectual politicians.

Joke: A dating sim where there's hot women, men and a super cool nb option? Sign me up, who cares about the horrors when you get to smooch these characters? Real Review: This is one of the most expansive and reactive stories I've played while also not compromising on its tone or story. It starts only mildly unsettling but grows into something disturbing and gross while also having heart. The heart being the wonderful cast of characters present who are well executed and are unique each with their own personality.

Oh my god I got this after I got Slay The Princess and my expectations were high because I have played such a good game from this dev. They were blown out of the water. If I'm being honest with you I can't tell you which game I like more. This game is so incredibly good. Everything from the dialogue to the traits to the literally everything else its just perfection.
