Rating: 10- / 10 Very minor spoilers!!! The amount of love put into this game is huge. I havent finished it yet, but dam, it already feels incredibly unique. There are anomalies and mechanics, I’ve never encountered in any steam game before fr, and they will The game is full of all kinds of content, memes, scary thins, funny stuff, and even elements inspired by souls games. It constantly feels like youre discovering new easter eggs. There are also different kinds of minigames, battles, and other surprises. SO GOOD. I highly recommend playing this with a friend. I dont have experience playing it solo, but co op feels like the ideal way to enjoy it. The only thing Id bring up as a possible improvement is that theres maybe a bit too much meme/funny content and selfbrand ads as anomalies. Id personally prefer more genuinely scary and unique anomalies instead of dancing/meme ones that dont really do anything. They are funny every now and then but theres pretty many of those. But this is a minor issue. Overall, this is probably the best anomaly game Ive played so far. So good. The game is also fairly long. Like I said, I havent completed it yet, but it seems to be around 4–5 hours depending on your experience with anomaly games, so it wont be over in an hour, which is good.
I played Hospital 666 and was so impressed I immediately purchased School 666 and played it asap. I was not disappointed by my choice. School 666 follows the Hospital 666 template whilst bringing in even more wacky, weird, innovative and terrifying anomalies and new and creative ‘boss battles.’ This game goes just as hard as Hospital 666 with its gameplay mechanics, anomalies, boss battles, and music. Play the prologue/tutorial first for an absolute banger! [B]Pros[/B] - This game goes just as hard as Hospital 666 - Banging tunes - Wacky, weird, wonderful and freaky (even deadly) anomalies - Clever and fun boss battles - Satisfying gameplay loop - Well worth replaying to see all the anomalies - Great atmosphere and map design - Anomalies were not too subtle so never felt frustrating [B]Cons[/B] - I want more! - Felt like there were less anomalies per level than in Hospital 666, but the boss battles felt stepped up so swings and roundabouts [B]Overall Rating: 9.5/10[/B]
