Intro animation is killer, gameplay and animations are even smoother than the first game, and once again we have a common Anamanaguchi W with the soundtrack. Definitely have to recommend! Edit: After now having played almost 70 hours of the game, I have a more detailed review of the gameplay itself. Compared to the first game, the gameplay is SMOOTH. Every move fluidly moves between each other in a very satisfying manner. Other than the bugs that the dev team has already mentioned will be fixed soon (achievements, softlocks) the only thing I can think of that some people would complain about is difficulty, given that once your characters' stats are maxed out, even the final boss takes seconds to beat. In my opinion, the rest of the gameplay is fluid enough to make up for the lack of difficulty, especially given the high difficulty of the original game, and the lack of uPlay is just fantastic.

I can finally enjoy a Scott Pilgrim game on Steam without Ubislop. This game looks and feels better than Marvel Cosmic Invasion.

Huge warning make sure to make your own save before playing with friends. If you join a friends game without starting your own save the character progression wont be saved so when you make your own save all the progress made on your friends game will be reset to your own save. Lost an hour and a half of progress games still pretty fun though.

Good, very good even. If you loved the old game, you will like this one. It has nice changes/additions like quests, a "open" world, the ex friends as playable characters and naturally a banger soundtrack thanks to anamanaguchi again. https://anamanaguchi.bandcamp.com/album/scott-pilgrim-ex-original-soundtrack found that the ost is buyable on bandcamp
