Honestly this game should be in the top 20 best games ever. Some may say the graphic is old, at first it is, then after you begin playing you get used to id and even is kinda fun. water geometry is very good, i would compare it with the water in "Deadliest Catch" which was created amazingly good. i have played that in English but planning to start a new game in Russian. I recommend everyone to give it a try. Good luck lads Ahoi

I am travelling east on the postal run between Port-au-Prince on Hispaniola and Port St Johns on Antigua watching the sun rise out of the sea. The dull thump of the waves against the small courageous Lugger’s hull is comfortingly relaxing. The mail is due in six days but Canary, an enhanced little Lugger with bright yellow sails, is travelling at over 14 knots eating the miles like wheat kernels. She is built for speed, not fighting. The crack mariners are up and down the ropes trimming and pulling the sails to catch every whisper of the wind. We’ll probably make landfall in St Johns within two days. The vast open ocean is both eerily lonely and pure soul food. It’s a far cry from last week when we confronted a pirate captain on Vengeance, a ship of the line armed to the teeth with 58, 34-pound monstrous cannons, carrying over 600 bloodthirsty pirate sailors howling for our blood. Our heavy frigate, Orca, with 400 battle hardened marines and skilled officers were equal to the task of bringing that stolen ship back to its real owners. First, we shredded the sails of Vengeance with chain-shot slowing her down while closing the gap zig-zag. We trimmed that crew to more manageable numbers with well placed buckshot clearing the open decks. She was ripe for the plucking by the time we had closed the gap to boarding distance. Musketeers took care of the remaining overhang and my captain, boarding officers and the marines with cutlass and lead ball musket pistols removed all lingering resistance. Captains finally duel for the prize, but Charles is handy with a rapier fencing the pirate captain in a dual to death for Vengeance. Made hasty battle repairs and with skeleton crew took Vengeance back to her rightful owners. I have been playing Sea Dogs TEHO on and off for the last few years. The game was mostly broken and beset by numerous bugs and failings. Yet it was pure joy when it was working. I used HookMod to make it playable and then there was an update and Hooks MOD would not work anymore, so it just drifted along until there was a HookMod update. Now, at last, I have managed to complete the game. I’ll get the updated version “Caribbean Legend” with extra content soon to play it all over again. This is one of those games which will reward you in spades if you can get past all its failings. Use the guide. Its worth it.
