Be a pirate, but yearning for more than just sailing, just ferrying cargo and just watching the sunset. Be an adventurer who needs more than gold, more than monsters, who needs a ship. Be in Tempest, where you can sail, make good money and of course, waylay merchants for their honestly earned coin and of course some kind of questing.
This game is absolutely worth checking out for the scenic experiences and all the quests/story that go along with it. You can tell tons of effort went into the world building and lore of this game. I also played for over 50 hours and didn't experience any real bugs. Yes, there are some visual bugs and the melee combat is a bit janky, but it didn't deter me from the overall fun experience with the game. If you need some advice for starting off, make sure you do the Pirate Academy first for all the base items you'll need to hold your own in combat. Then when you can, go to the eastern map and get the Grim Reaper for a ship. I used that ship for a very long time until I got the Battle Junk in the west map (I think from finishing the Emperor's Daughter quest, or maybe you need to find and capture it) but you will need significant speed boosting items to help that one go quicker. But once I had that fully upgraded there was nothing I couldn't handle. I highly recommend this game for those who like pirates and enjoy a mix of fantasy elements.

So, I almost got a refund for this game due to something that I thought was a bug but ended up just being my own fault. The game is a lot of fun once you get the hang of it, and it's actually pretty easy to get the hang of. People say it's better than Skull and Bones, and, well, I don't think you can really compare them. Yeah, they are both about pirates where you captain a ship and take down other ships, but they're completely different games. Still, if you like Skull and Bones, I would definitely give this game a try.
