TL;DR Serial Cleaners was definitely an interesting experience. Overall, I would say that the game was a net positive and was worth playing - even though it has some problems. I will not be purchasing the DLC, though. Pros 1. The game mechanics were really fun to learn and play with. 2. I enjoyed the middle and later levels a lot because they allow for different strategies and experiment with verticality. 3. Sometimes you have to switch between two cleaners to complete a level and they have specialized capabilities which allows you to approach the same areas in different ways. 4. The outline of the story was entertaining and made you want to learn more about each character. 5. There were different situations (no spoilers) for each level and they were always refreshing in my opinion. 6. I thought that the jittery and subliminal visuals were really well done. This is subjective, though. Others may find this annoying. 7. The additions of checkpoints and opportunities to get out of rough situations made completing this game tolerable. Sometimes cleaning scenes with a high level of stealth would take at least an hour. If progress was reset every time you get busted, I would have most likely quit. Cons 1. The earlier levels (the first five) were really annoying to complete as a first-time player. Most of them were really small or had limited strategy. 2. Levels that were active crime scenes subverted my expectations and were my least favorite in terms of believability. If blood, evidence, and/or bodies are tampered with during a real investigation, law enforcement wouldn't just forget about it after 30-60 seconds and continue on with their patrol pattern. Once I stopped thinking/caring about crime scene procedures, the game was much more enjoyable. 3. I didn't like the writing for most of the story. Characters feel like caricatures of what they should have been. Bob seemed like the only convincing person to me. For example, Vip3r was my favorite character to play, but had the most annoying dialogue in the entire group. 4. Some hiding spots are either bugged or hard to use. 5. The action button on the controller sometimes had me open/close doors or pickup bodies if two interactive objects were too close together. There's more I could write, but I will leave it at that. I would rate my experience with the game a 7/10.

Pretty cool game. If you liked the first one (Serial Cleaner), you're going to like this one too. Similar formula to the first game, but now in "3d", with some extra characters with their own backstories and special abilities. The "objectives UI" is kind of hard to see in a small screen (e.g. if you are playing on a small screen you might have trouble reading the objective "tips") and, in some situations, could control a little better (e.g. it would be cool if the players moved a little faster - though the female characters seem to do so, so I guess its just part of the gameplay). Anyway, I'm pretty happy with this game - its just a more modern take of the original serial cleaner game!
