Very entertaining game with unique setting that refers to things that took place mostly in 1990s in many former Eastern Block countries, mixing realism of such things as "subculture wars" with a fine dose of surreal humor and various references to a lot of different things that I won't mention to not spoil anything. SharpShooter3D has an oldschool gameplay that is well-thought and reminds of the finest oldschool shooters, and oldschool visuals are made with impressive care to details. I loved the fact you could interact with so many different objects, or even play on the main character's video console. Speaking of main characters, there are three to be picked. Each one looks different and requires slightly different approach to the gameplay. This game also has fantastic soundtrack that will make the whole playthrough feel even better. The game itself is not long, but I say it's long enough to be engaging for most of the time and encourage beating it a game. SharpShooter3D is a very solid game. Sure, there can be glitches appearing here and there, once or twice during the whole game, but in my case they were nothing close to anything that'd ruin the game or break the immersion. It's a fun game. I recommend it.

SharpShooter3D is a fantastic retro shooter based around punk sub culture and the criticism/dislike of politics and authority. I personally love punk fashion and culture and I also love retro shooters, so it makes me like this game even more. I believe this started out as a Doom mod and has been put out as it's own standalone game which was a fantastic idea! About the game: From what I read, your player character is against the corrupt politicians as well as authority and all the hateful people supporting them. You also fight crazed drug addicts, nazis and even fucking crazed religious fanatics. You go from a poor, dirty apartment building to places like drug dens, a small concert, subways, other apartments, stores.. etc and along the way, beating the hell out of people who wanna beat you on sight. As well as supporting people like anarchists fighting cops and people supporting the politicians. Weapons: Wow, the selection of weapons and the gameplay involved with them is very interesting. A hand gun that has 4 bullets gets thrown away after you shoot them all and you can't pick it up again. You can also pick up stuff like blades and broken bottles, even using a frying pan to burn someone's face off. Even molotovs! It kinda makes you feel like you're in a street fight, using whatever is in the area as a makeshift weapon. You won't have a multitude of weapons to choose from on hand like in Doom, whatever the hell is in your hands will be what will end the person who chose poorly for picking a fight with you. Level Design: Sometimes areas are confusing to navigate and it will take some time to find your way, but after a little bit, you'll find your way. I really love how the environments are depicted. The anarchist NPCs will join your fight along side you and fight anyone that's an enemy... which is kinda everyone LMAO. So you'll see those guys with masks and sunglasses with batons and stuff walking around and there's chill NPCs just hanging around. The environments feel really lived in and it's really cool (though, the environments are fucking gross and unclean, not like you'd really want to be there) because you can kinda immerse yourself in it solely on the atmosphere of it and the people around you. Gameplay: Do ya like Doom? Do ya like retro shooters as a whole? Do you like Punk culture? This is your match made in heaven. As I've stated, you go level to level like you would in Doom, pick up weapons and fight people. If you enjoy Doom's gameplay, you will enjoy this. There's hidden secrets, I think there's references to pop culture and stuff of that sort. The environments are diverse so going place to place really does feel like a new area. I will also add that while you're going through the levels, badass punk music is playing and it's really good stuff. Unfortunately, just like Doom and most retro shooters, there's not exactly much for replayability. There's a few characters to choose from which really doesn't change almost anything much and the secrets you can find is more entertaining than it is influential to the gameplay. I will say this, though, the ending or levels close to the ending, is pretty crazy and it's a great and enjoyable experience throughout, especially for it's price tag. Final thoughts: I highly recommend this game. If you like Doom and Doom mods, grab this game. I never thought I'd play a retroshooter as a punk, with punk rock playing and kicking a bunch of ass. That concept alone really caught my interest and I very much did enjoy my time playing, even if I got frustrated at finding my way at some points. The trailer shows what I said in my points a little bit so if the trailer gets your interest even just a little bit, get this game. Also, this game has cute punk girls in it. That gives it extra points in my book. I love this game. I hope you enjoy it and have fun! \m/
