Thank you for this wonderful game! But I have a few realistically acheivable requests to greatly improve the experience: FUTURE UPDATE REQUESTS: (0) Turbojet/Ramjet/Scramjet/Rocket Engine. (rename MILITARY JET to MILITARY TURBOFAN or whatever it is) (1) Bypass Ratio is strictly 0 for the Turbojet (2) Minimum slider for the Compression Ratio to 3.0x for the Turbojet (3) Minimum slider for the Burner Temp to 870K and a rigid back and forth nozzle option for the Turbojet (Mimic Early Jets) (4) Settings that will make the minimum thrust 1kN, and for the minimum engine size to be the smallest possible jet engine in the game using part properties. An afterburner option + (Maybe properties that would lead to carbon soot emissions where there is a black smoke trail that early jets had. [Example: More inefficient combustion would have more carbon soot]) All for the Turbojet. (5) For cannons: A bullet spread slider in part properties (0-1), 0 would be how it is now, and 1 would be the maximum value to allow for spread or inaccuracy. (6) For cannons: A crosshair for air targets, the same fixed crosshair that wing guns use. (7) For cannons: A minimum caliber of 20mm instead of 50mm. (8) New guns: A limited ammunition amount, Bullet drop depending on bullet speed, and the same sliders as the cannon in part properties, but with a minimum caliber of 5mm and a maximum of 19mm. (9) Ai crafts using cannons by default if there are no guns. Thank you for taking these into consideration if you do. I highly recommend going to the Simpleplanes website to join the community and reccomend things there. All of the things I recommended, I also posted on the website.
I figured it was time to edit my review a bit. Still absolutely love this game and the more I play it the more I realize how much of a massive step from the first game it really is. I still do not really like the map and wish there were more distant places to travel to. I really think ground vehicles should be ignored from a dev perspective. This is SIMPLE PLANES. They really need to focus on that. This game is really great already but if they don't focus on what this game actually is then it won't become something really special. There are a few things that need to be added as soon as possible: - Mod support - Passenger seats in crafts so your friends can ride in the same plane - Dedicated servers - This is a reach but Workshop content is another big one. This would allow mods to flow seamless with dedicated servers. But I really do recommend this game to anyone interested. Despite the things I wish this game has it's still amazing. I just care a lot about the future of this game and would really love for it to live up to it's potential. Support the devs any way you can. They listen to the community and seem to be really motivated to give us the game we want.
