The mechanics are kind of jank but it has its own charm to it in a way. Very good adaptation of the BO:Cold War mechanics, fun gameplay loop, idk what else to say really. Wish the red trials would be taken out back and shot, these things ruin the pace of whatever it is you've got going on. Otherwise, great game. Would recommend.

Sker is a slightly shallower alternative to the far more mainstream Call of Duty Zombies. I think if you want a more polished, optimized, and generally more expansive/customizable experience, I highly recommend getting Black Ops III when its on sale, namely with the Zombie Chronicles Bundle. However, for a cheaper more budget experience, Sker is a very faithful, and generally very enjoyable gameplay experience. Ignoring CoD for a second, Sker innovates in some unique ways with both its perk system and revives. It lacks the quality assurance that comes with CoD, but the jank and unique features bring its own charm, and I regularly return to Sker just for the hell of it. Definitely worth your money.

This is just Nazi Zombies in its original glory. Mystery boxes, Pack-a-Punches and Perk Machines with cheesy Easter Egg missions. This game is what Killing Floor 3 could have been but instead, all it made me do is watch more Hentai. 7/10 Waifus Approve

What Is It Sker Ritual is a co-op, round-based survival shooter, basically a Call of Duty Zombies stand-alone. It's set in the folk-horror universe of Maid of Sker and focuses on fast-paced combat, completing objectives, upgrading weapons, and surviving escalating waves of enemies. Designed for 1–4 players, it blends atmospheric horror with arcade-style action and offers a progression system built around perk upgrades and cosmetic unlocks. The Good Fun horde gameplay The core round-based survival loop is very satisfying, especially with friends (which I'd strongly recommend you bring along, the game is much less fun alone in my opinion) and offers a decent amount of replayability due to weapons that feel quite distinct from each other, a fun perk system that lets you strategically mix powers of different supernatural entities and diverse quests that keep you engaged beyond the monster slaying action. Strong Atmosphere The game digs deeper into the setting and gothic vibes of Maid of Sker, with spooky (and sometimes goofy) enemies and maps that feel very distinct from each other. You can tell the game isn't exactly AAA material but the old-school, slightly clunky design actually adds to the charm of the game, it feels like playing a b-movie in the best kind of way. The Bad Technical Issues There are some bugs that can get in the way, for example we ran into an apparently well-known bug that prevented one of my friends from using any weapons or interacting with any objects for the rest of the round which obviously can be hella frustrating when you're half an hour into a map. Luckily in our 15ish hours of playtime so far the bug only occurred once. The game also seems to have some issues with hit registration once in a while; this will be very obvious though as soon as you start a map and leaving and restarting the map seems to fix that issue. The Secrets Each map has secret objectives for you to complete after solving the main quest. It would have been awesome if those would be hard but fun puzzles but they feel more like kind of silly busywork that seems almost impossible to figure out on your own. If you want to 100% this game definitely be prepared to have some guides ready unless you're some kind of supernaturally talented sleuth. Conclusion If you’re a fan of team-based horde shooters and enjoy grinding for upgrades with friends, Sker Ritual offers a satisfying, atmospheric co-op loop with genuinely fun combat and customisation. If you don't mind some rough edges here and there the game is definitely worth it. The devs also recently announced workshop support so we'll hopefully get a bunch of fresh content soon!

fun game but it would be cool if they allowed the community to make maps as well since theres a long up keep and new releases for updates but probably wont allow that
