Amazing GTA-esque kung fu game. Cool story. A lot of tension. Great combat system with a mix of counters and just straight attacks of different kinds. The combat feels very satisfying. Especially environmental attacks. Gun combat is not great but serves to break up the pure melee action. If you like kung fu movies this is a game you must play. Beat it Jan 2025. Still gotta complete the 2 dlcs.

Absolute classic. Great story, and lots of amusing quirks, and who doesn't love a game where you can walk around beating up randoms... Vehicle controls are a bit janky and some of the default button assignments are questionable, but otherwise great game

Probably one of my favourite open-world story based games ever made, there's just something about Sleeping Dogs that's hooked me in and had me come back to play and 100% it on multiple consoles and PC.

Where should i start, amazing Game for it´s Age and it does Show it Flaws, expecially if you want to 100% it. Enemie Spawns can be straight up Terrible, they spawn right next to you and shoot you with a SMG. Runs Amazing on the Steam Deck tho and it has been one of my best experiences so far. Story is really good and way deeper than i thought at first, it is not a GTA Clone at all! Holds up extremely well in terms of Graphics and Gameplay choices, i really loved the Combat System in the Game, kinda sad that it didn´t sell well back then i would´ve loved a Part 2. I would definetly Recommend this to most People that enjoy an Action Packed Game. +1 for adding all of the Collectibles on the Map.

The obvious comparison for Sleeping Dogs is GTA. While the scope is smaller than the later GTA titles, Sleeping Dogs manages to separate itself with an emphasis on hand to hand combat (somewhat similar to the Batman games) & an engaging story which places you as an undercover cop in Hong Kong (an underutilised setting). It still holds up despite being released over a decade ago,
