Recommended A Significant Step Forward - Solid Stealth Sniping Experience After completing Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 on Veteran Sniper difficulty (3/4), I can confidently say this is a substantial improvement over the first game in nearly every aspect. The Good Starting from where the game shines: the shooting is GREAT. There's quite some variety of weapons that feel and shoot differently form each other. The AI has been greatly improved, and I'm happy to report that many issues mentioned in early reviews have been largely addressed. The game truly rewards technique and practice with your rifle, as well as careful scouting and planning before approaching enemy positions. Taking your time to methodically plan and execute an assault is not just viable—it's deeply satisfying. The classic contracts are where this game really shines. These 2-3 hour missions feature open maps with excellent variety in situations, objectives, and approaches. Most objectives offer 4-5 different tactical routes (plus the "Rambo" option for those who prefer it), giving you real freedom in how you tackle each scenario. The new long contracts provide a nice change of pace, though they sometimes feel more puzzle-oriented than traditional sniping gameplay. New gadgets like the improved drone, bow, and exploding bullets are welcome additions, even if stealth-focused players won't necessarily need them. Technical improvements are notable: the game-breaking bugs from the first entry have been fixed, particularly the infamous issue where you'd respawn directly in front of enemies. Being able to load from a list of save files is also a great quality-of-life addition. The story and characters (Raven and Control) wisely stay in the background with brief exchanges and functional communications that don't interrupt gameplay flow. The Okay Graphics are serviceable—it's CryEngine with its usual strengths and limitations. Nothing spectacular, but perfectly adequate. Minor Issues I encountered only two bugs during my playthrough: once the exfiltration point got stuck and required a reload, and another time my character clipped between objects (though I escaped). Occasionally the game misses some inputs, but these are rare occurrences. Playtime and Replayability I completed the main storyline in 20 hours. I have the "Butcher" bonus mission still to complete. I want to replay some missions to complete some challenges that require a different approach. Good replayability if you are into this kind of challenges but definitely not for everyone. I think the game offers good value for the money: not that much quantity but a lot of quality. Verdict A solid 8.5/10 in the stealth infiltration genre. I found this significantly better than recent entries in other sniping franchises like Sniper Elite. Absolutely recommended for fans of tactical stealth gameplay and methodical sniping mechanics.

Finally a game that lets me sit on a hill, hold my breath, and delete bad guys from a mile away like I’m delivering Amazon Prime but with bullets.

bit buggy with the achievements.. and some movement bugs, but otherwise really good sniper game if you just want to shoot and not grind all achievements like me :)

The sheer realism of this game is absolutely amazing, realistic engagements, mostly realistic stealth mechanics, and the sniping is the most realistic out of every game out there, doesn't feel arcade like in the slightest. (granted i play at max difficulty, there are options that make it easier, but i feel even max difficulty is pretty fair, even though it IS unforgiving) I've never had more fun in a stealth game in my entire life. Extremely satisfying, and has beautiful bullet cam sequences. The only downside to this game is the simple fact that I. WANT. MORE. If you don't like gore this game may not be for you, however you can get rid of the worst of it by turning off bullet cam. I give this game a SOLID 11/10
