What an incredible game! The dev has really poured his heart and sole into the creation of this game! I absolutely enjoyed it from it's initial release. Every update added to it's expanse and gameplay, and it has become one of my favorite games of all time! Now with the new DLC, I have an exciting opportunity to delve into it's vast space adventure for another epic journey! From the vast amount of ships to deck out, the massive amount of equipment and weapons, to the enormous galaxies to journey through... this game goes over the top! I never leave reviews for anything, and I think this is the only I have ever given for a game. THIS GAME WAS WORTH IT! Bravo, and keep up the amazing work!

This is easily one of the best and most engrossing indie games I have ever played. When you consider that it was made by a one-man indie developer, it's obviously a labour of love. I 100% recommend this game as a calm way of passing time, especially if you are into space shoot-em-ups. The fact this game and the dev haven't won more awards is unfathomable. This is everything an indie game should be. I can't wait for the DLC to drop in a few days and I will happily support this dev.

I'm loving this game! The crafting system, the controls, the way that mining and scavenging were implemented, the way that crew management works... Bravo! To me this is the next iteration on the wildly entertaining Escape Velocity / Overdrive / Nova / Endless Sky / NAEV formula. Each of those games has their charms and I recommend them all to those who enjoy this sort of top down space adventure / single player RPG experience. Star Valor is my new fave in the genre and I'm eagerly awaiting the upcoming Base Building DLC!

Fun sandbox. I sank a lot of hours into it without realizing it. I wish it had a plot though, or a story line for each faction. Mostly just grind for the sake of better gear so you can then grind for better gear. So it feels like I'm doing stuff for no reason or purpose. Late levels are also really slow, making the grind feel worse.

It's an open world sandbox rpg in space Not as complicated as other games in the genre so it's easy to get into quickly. Think Kenshi or M&B Warband, but boiled down to it's most basic parts. Keep up the good work, I'd like to see more mechanics added on in a similar way.
