The atmosphere is incredibly soulful. The style, the ambient hum, the slow rhythm of daily routines - it all pulls you in. And there's one moment that hit me harder than most games ever have: when someone asks how you're doing, and the game won't let you say "I'm not okay." I found so much of my own life in this story. It made me think about the things I avoid and the people I've shut out. It's not just a game - it's a mirror. Slow, dialogue-heavy, and more about feelings than action. But if you've ever used distance as a shield, this one will speak to you. Verdict: A quiet masterpiece about loss and connection. Highly recommended.
An odd duck of a game. Love the concept and the presentation (the fully interactable command console and keyboard was a nice surprise). The Puzzles can lean on the frustrating side and it feels like an oversight that you can't pin the in-game technical manual while trying to resolve them, instead having to click through the menu. I liked the humour for the most part (although I can see why others found it grating) but was left wanting more from the story come the end. It tries a lot, touching on grief, betrayal, redemption, and death while also piling sci-fi twists and turns on top. Could perhaps have been pared back for a better whole, but still decent. I enjoyed my time with Still There overall, and believe its worth trying if you are into story-focused games or are interested by the premise, especially with its short length and low price.
