Review updated after 1.01. 1.0 had a bunch of issues in it, but they seem to be mostly fixed few days later. The game is quite unique and there is definately fun to be had here. There is bunch of things that are rather bland like driving mechanics, but they serve their purpose. What makes it interesting is a long list of items you can uncover, so if you like looking through random loot while gradually improvind and upgrading new tools and unlocking new ways to make money. Best way to decide if it is worth picking up is to get the demo and play it.

I deleted my previous review. It was wrong. This game is dope. Just give it time and stick in there. Pawnshops are king. Put EVERYTHING you buy in the pawnshop you own and set the employee to automate. Invest early in the fixing tool. You get alot more $ from repaired items. Same with the verifying tool. Lots of $ saved in the long run. The game is grindy at first but then it takes off and you really start feeling your work pay off. These are just some of the things I wish I knew in the beginning. 10 outta 10. This game is dope af and very addicting. I can't wait to see what they add. I keep seeing people request Multiplayer. I say scratch that and give us employees that load/haul our items to our pawn shops. Or let us own a warehouse where employees can verify low tier items and repair them and place them in the pawnshop automatically. The amount of time i take repair and verifying everything is kinda lame. Also another tip. You can stay awake all night. Just DONT stay awake til 8am the next or the game does some janky shit and you lose stuff. Just run around, get your storage units. Leave, get another. Repeat, come back later once they're all finished and verify/repair the items. This is mainly useful once you have a pawnshop or two because until you own a pawnshop, they close at 9am. But once you have a pawnshop or two they stay open TO YOU 24 hours a day and you can always restock your warehouse. ALSO upgrade your warehouse storage connected to the pawnshop ASAP you'll need it in the beginning. Later on you'll get to where you only sell the Good stuff in your pawn shop, then go to another town and sell the crap stuff for reknown. However, you will get bored as things become tedious and it becomes MOSTLY about beating the clock.

Job / life sims are ten a penny these days, aren't they? They use similar gameplay loops, are often grindy, often have rabid Steam User suggestions but little dev feedback, and you can overfeast on the same type of thing thing in a different guise pretty easily. I will tell you why this is one of the very best in the genre, in my opinion. But, beware - if you are not into Storage Wars / auctioning type of thing then your mileage may vary... As a job sim, it has a very nice and satisfying series of loops: go to auction. win auction, pack your stuff up, clean it and verify its value, sell it at a store (or buy your own store to sell it at.) You drive around and find different auctions, different sales spots and earn kudos in each area. This allows you to buy and decorate new bases (homes) which you can decorate with the stuff you win when you are rich enough not to have to sell everything you find, which is super-nice. Of course, there are progression barriers in your way at first; you need to take this special item to a shop to verify its value, you need to visit a locksmith to unlock this secret box....and so on. And then over time you can earn the tools to do this yourself, more quickly, and even polish up those items to a better quality to earn more from the resale. You need to refuel your vehicle and maybe upgrade it at times to manage bigger payloads and visit more auctions per day. And all these are utterly absorbing and become extremely more-ish! Other games do this too, but the stand-out differences are that - although jank is often not an unwelcome thing in this type of game if the right type - it's virtually non-existent in this one, and that the dev / CM support is absolutely top drawer. As this game closes out to it's 1.0 this year (planned) it is roadmapped for specific new features, one of which just dropped as I write, and did not disappoint. Although Early Access right now, this game is 100% ready for you to play and enjoy. As well as everything I mentioned, there are additional details that just help keep the main loops fresh: collectors want certain items that you would otherwise sell and will reward you for prioritising them, there are (literal) easter egg hunts, and as mentioned you can buy and decorate the several homes you can buy, and this last feature works in an extremely satisfying manner - almost like it's from a completely different game. I think some players could see this game in a completely different light to me, maybe just see it as another one of those widely-spammed janky job games, but in my experience this is exactly how you do a job sim and make it an enjoyable game to play, and play a lot. Much respect, well made, well supported and well done.

Absolutely the best 15 dollars I have spent in a long time. An absolutely wonderful game! I am excited every time I win a new unit. A new item pops up almost every unit and I have played almost 100 hours! Being able to decorate my home is fun and creative. There are a couple small bugs and time definitely is the main factor in the game. But the game team is constantly doing upgrades and fixes as needed. Would be nice to have more statistics on sales. There is a "dark room" in the house in West Black Elk that is unusable. Would like to be able to interact with home furnishings, play a radio, sit on a couch and maybe some outdoor abilities to interact at the house. Keep adding the items! Maybe a clock management option. Overall the game is awesome! Not sure about replayability but I have enjoyed it so far.

After 60 hours total (save file reports 47), purchasing everything available in game, and saving up over a quarter million monies, i can confidently state that this is a great game. Fun, Satisfying, Entertaining, Engaging... can be as casual or as fast paced as you would like. Equally satisfying whether killing a few minutes here and there or stocking the bar fridge and loading up on pop tarts to toss in your toaster that you keep on your desk, beside your bed, or next to your toilet... I've enjoyed every minute. In 60 hours I've only had one unfortunate crash which rendered an hour mute, (recommend throwing down a save every so often)... One glitch where a cardboard box exploded and all items froze in mid air as they were exploding from said box. Looked very cool like tony stark was examining the contents on his wild 3d computer thing... but frustrating since everything then acted as one giant item which I could seperate or fit through the door lol otherwise it's been smooth sailing. Fully playable indeed. Very much looking forward to more updates and the features eluded to for the full version!!! Keep up the good work!! DEVS I have some suggestions and observations which I would love to submit if I can figure out how to. Also if I can figure out how to submit tips n tricks in the community I will.
