Until I taste the SuddenStrike5...Of course SuddenStrike4 you are deserve a 'thumb up'. 1. SS5 compressed with il2cpp that you CANNOT custom any data via UnityAssetBundlesExractor(UABE), SS4 win; 2. SS5 doesn't has any official map editor or something else, despite the official editor SS4 also doing a lousy ♥♥♥♥., SS4 win; 3. SS5 all units in SS5 looks like plastic toy, it's fully degenerate compare to SS4, 2026 graphics worse than 2017, SS4 win; 4. SS5 merely has 4 playable skirmish maps, please forgive me I shouldn't complain about RedAlert2 why so lit playable maps you has...I can't believe only 4 playable maps to a RTS game. Even if SS4 doesn't has enough variant maps at least SS4 win again; 5. Nowadays you could purchase SS4 with tiny cost at festival, but it is real pain to pay $50USD for SS5, a half completed game.

Seriously addictive! You can sink hours into just one mission within a campaign just to trying to preserve as many of your troops/tanks etc as possible! Mechanics/controls are easy enough to get on with and the graphics aren't too bad either. Well worth a buy if your into these kind of strategy games similar to AoE!! I'm no historian so I shan't comment on the accuracy of it from that perspective, but I doubt many of the battles played out how mine have!!

8/10 – World War II, but With More Micromanagement Sudden Strike 4 drops you into large-scale World War II battles and asks you to win using strategy, positioning, and patience. You don’t build bases. You don’t spam units. You work with what you have and try not to get everyone killed. Every mission feels like a puzzle made of tanks, infantry, and questionable terrain choices. Flanking matters. Recon matters. Smoke matters. Everything matters. Combat is slower and more deliberate than most RTS games, which makes victories feel earned and defeats feel humiliating. Is it flashy? No. Is it tactical? Very. Is it satisfying when a plan works? Incredibly. If you like thinking before clicking, Sudden Strike 4 delivers. Highly recommended. My troops deserved better.

Personally, I have enjoyed Sudden Strike 4 quite a lot. Yes, it might feel a bit arcade-y & simple compared to previous entries in the series, but it's still fun & has quite a lot tactical depths to it, specially in higher difficulties. Punishing as usual when you make mistakes. Can't wait for Sudden Strike 5!
