I absolutely adore this game. I had played the demo and fell in love instantly. Then I bought the game and got frustrated as there is no hand holding after the initial basic instructions. After a few days I picked it up again and took my time to figure our how to optimise rails and not go into debt. This has been my experience with the game: 1. Setting up optimal rails, switches, traffic lights, fuel depots to ensure no gridlock. 2. As supply and demand changes, you go back to #1. 3. Then the game trolls you and secretly changes a switch (I promise that's what happened!), which causes a gridlock, you go back to #1. 4. Suddenly one of your supply stations stops working, because you had built a rail that wasn't allowed (but why?), you go back to #1 5. It's 1.30 am and you should really go to bed, but you quickly go back to #1. There are some small QoL changes that I would love to see: 1. Option to click on a switch or traffic light when a train is passing over it. Maybe a shift click to select anything other than the train? 2. I would love to see some sort of warning sign if one of my trains has run out of fuel, so I can resolve the issue quickly. 3. I would like an indicator on a station when it's ready for an upgrade.

***RELEASE DATE REVIEW ~15 HOURS*** I played this game 14 hours straight since starting today. Literally. Didn't eat and barely took breaks (accidentally). I absolutely love this game. I 100% believe that I got my money's worth with the initial sale, and that makes me feel compelled to write this review. WHO IS THIS GAME FOR? If you love city builders, love Mini Motorways, or craved something more difficult than Dorfromantik, then you'll love this. There is a lot of logic in this game, so if you like coding, or seeing plans come to life until they break, then fixing things over and over again until they're optimized, you may like this as well. Also, this may be for you if you are willing to join the Discord to ask for help so you can get through the initial tutorial... THIS GAME WILL BE WORTH IT AFTER THE TUTORIAL - I PROMISE YOU. BIGGEST CON - START / TUTORIAL: There is an initial grind and novelty in figuring out how things work in this game... Honestly, that frustration almost made me quit. (I even had a 2 hour timer I use for starting Steam games in case I am too frustrated and want to return a game... Honestly, I was antsy after the first hour)... But then I saw there was a Discord and asked some questions there. I had some issues progressing through the tutorial and had to restart the game one time. After I asked for help in the Discord for two or three issues, it was smooth sailing. The members were super helpful and nice - even when I wasn't reading the tutorial properly (which was my fault and realized after my initial complaint). There is also a possibility that people could get locked out of their game if too many mistakes are made during the tutorial. Don't be afraid to restart your game a few times while you're figuring out the mechanics. BIGGEST PRO - PROGRESSION: My favorite part is that the gradual - but tangible - complexity is felt with every upgrade. I hate when I am playing a city builder and it feels like the same, but literally bigger. I also hate when I quickly max out of a map in a few minutes or hours. In this game, the upgrades become a new challenge that may require you to fiddle, tweak, or even scrap your initial plans in ways you won't expect; and this kept me hooked. I am already excited for my next game, and I am only on level 5 or 6 of this one. ***REVIEW 50+ HOURS*** I noticed that there were some comments with concerns so I wanted to counter some of them. This game will be fulfilling if you're willing to invest your energy into it passed level 5. The achievement I feel after reaching level 7 (the final level) is unlike any game I've attempted except Elden Ring. Even though my progress through this map is "finished", I still feel compelled to play it again with a new map due to the challenge and effort it took to reach the very end. The progression from 6 to 7 was STEEP. Really felt the challenge, as it took me about 15-20 hours on level 6 alone on my latest map. Also, since release, the devs have added several great improvements to the game such as "less than" logic that wasn't initially integrated upon release. I am confident that this game will continue to develop over time to include features and levels passed 7. I also wanted to note that this game is great when you have two monitors, as you can seamlessly go between screens if you're multitasking. This is a great game. 10/10. 100% recommend.

Chill automated train game. You're creating a network to move things about a procedurally generated island, and if you get the automated bits right then you essentially have a lovely little Hornby trainset done in a gorgeous art style with day/night and seasonal cycles and little dynamic changes happening all over the map as your villages expand. The tutorial has been fine, getting the automation quite right has taken me some trial and error to understand the and/or clauses properly but that's just me being a little dense. Exactly as described really, very nice game from the dev of Farlander, which I also enjoyed.

This game looks sooo cute! I like how with the construction of new elements the city itself seems to come to life. The train logic seems a bit complicated at first, but once you figure it out the game is addictive! I recommend it to all fans of cozy graphics and automation, this is the best i've seen in this genre!
