This was a decent experience. Interesting to see the narrative between 2d and 3d games. Some of the new characters were pretty funny, and the battle system was pretty engaging. Combat could be weird or slow depending on what skills you equip, but hitting their weakness feels good, and rewards you a ton. Art style is really nice, sometimes makes it hard to read the stages though. Some of the cutscenes also didn't load properly, and the map was a little confusing to use. Not my favorite Neptunia game, but an interesting take and spinoff for the series.
overall i enjoyed my 22 hours experience completing this game. after jumping from Rebirth 1-3, this one feels fresh for its skill-compositioning, art, and gameplay itself despite being very generic 2D RPG. Also the enemies design are not copy-pasted from previous title... yay? (But some voices still are). while everything else is unexpectedly (more) fun than i expected, it isnt all sunshine and rainbow. the story is so anti-climatic, even the hidden ending is (kinda) better in its own way. skills sometimes reset or missing when replacing party member(s) the map is confusing and didn't tell you where it is leading to (thank god for the community notes and guides) it (still) crashing once every few while so saving often is necessary XDD 7.5 / 10 i guess
