You don't have to make "much better games" (as mentioned in the end credits). This shmup is on point, great graphics and unique puzzle twist. Hard, but doable stages - even for a moderate skill level. Devs on my radar now!

This is a really fun little game! It does pretty darn well in combining two different genres into a single, cohesive experience. The story is rather shallow, to be expected of a more arcade-y title, but I feel that works and is completely fine for a game that is so short and easy to 100%. They give you plenty of tools and progression options to make levels easier as you unlock them. My only complaint is that there are times where the levels just generate in a way where you are doomed to fail and die, it seems. It would have been nice of maybe you had some form of ‘one time use per stage’ shuffle mechanic to change the border around and alienate that just a bit.

Super Star Path was an amazing experience. I love it's simplicity, I love the soundtrack, all aliens are cute, It can be FFF*kin' irritating, you can get angry pretty quickly, but... I do still recommend it. It's about accepting the challenge, and getting to the end. This is not just a simple mission... YOU ARE GOING TO DIE A LOT, DUDE, But eventually you'll get there. NEVER SURRENDER! 5/5

What a cute lil game :) It has great art and music, and good replay value for the price. It also has the cringe but charming voice acting that you'd come to expect from DYA Games!! The only weird thing I noticed is that you can get yourself stuck behind a full wall of frozen alien barriers, unable to progress. It's probably a skill issue on my part, and I most likely set myself up to get stuck earlier in the level. However, I still wonder if when spawning the level, it checks to see if there's at least one clear route. B-tier
