It's an upgraded version of Unturned or indie offshoot of State of Decay. Don't let the low poly graphics fool you, this game is well made. The world is huge and well populated with a ton of POIs. Some larger locations have bosses that can maul you if you stumble into them unprepared. Geared up and not worried about the zombies any more, then you can take on bandits that sporadically show up around the world. Geared to the teeth and want the hardest enemies, try delving into the Cayote strongholds or delve into the high radiation zones for top tier loot. The game is early access and it could still use some fine tuning. As it is now, a great game and worth the price. The weather system is outstanding. Rain variations from drizzle to all hell has broken loose lightning storm. Fog of war is literal here, once the fog rolls in move slow and careful or end up strolling into a mass of biters. Don't like running around at night, carry a tent so you can sleep through it. The vehicles are varied and standard to this genre of game. Two noteworthy entries though. The RV can be slept in through the night just like a tent which makes great sense. The golf cart is adorable, weak, but zippy. Graphics 7 Sound 8 Mechanics 9 Environment 9 World Composition 10 Acidic Zombies -10 erg!

A real hidden gem. Open world zombie survival game where you can plant your stakes anywhere and live your post apocalyptic scavenger life. You can adjust almost every aspect of the game to your liking. Adjust spawn counts, loot raritys, event rarity, and more to create the post apocalypse of your dreams. Runs great on Deck. All I want is a city map to get lost in. This game manages to avoid the infuriating craft grind, but makes yet another open countryside with small towns sprinkled throughout. The map is fine, all things considered, but the genre is ready for a new setting, and a city is a no brainer. Also co-op would be cool, but more than anything I wish the developer continued success so they can make the game they envisioned. Support indie! Try it out! I'm excited to see how the game shapes up down the line!

Absolutely addicted to this game!! I love it! It covers every part of a PvE looter shooter you could want. Outstanding. The only thing missing is co-op, that's it. If I could play this with my friends then it would make everything 100x better. Just NEVER add PvP, game doesn't need it, no one wants it, a lot of the player base will stop playing if it is added. Not every game needs a dickhead camping spawn for your loot, the zombies and angry npcs are more than enough.
