This game is great overall. I don't like the frequency of loot as it diminishes the feeling of value in items and makes the focus VERY heavy on inventory management within 2 minutes of playing. I spend much more time in inventory menus than anywhere else. Also, I desperately need a mouse sensitivity setting for menu screens as dragging items between containers takes 5+ seconds per item on steam deck. Text is a bit hard to read but not a game killer. I do love the game otherwise.
Great game and great developers. Every update the game has gotten better and better. I love the more simplistic interface than other games of the genre (i.e. Project Zomboid). Highly recommend to anyone who enjoys the survival genre, looting shooter, etcetera. Can't wait for 1.0 and beyond!
good game, people need to give my g lui more credit as they are genuinely one person. Do not rush if you want a good product and this seems to be there passion project as it still updated. If your looking at reviews it is worth the $4 i promise and even if it is not on sale it is worth it.
Very fun game with lots of potential, but after three years it still has so many game breaking bugs that continue to go unfixed. The game crashes, saves get corrupted, items get deleted or duplicated, objects on the ground get duplicated, debuffs get stuck forever, and the inventory has visual bugs. Also, inventory management is a chore. It needs an auto-stack feature and more buildable containers with different appearances for different item categories. Despite all the frustrations, I've enjoyed the game enough to keep coming back to it.
Dev's been cooking on this lately, though Steam gets all updates, sometimes he goes a while without updating the Steam announcements, only updating changelog in game. I think after the repeated messages asking if the game is dead, it may be clear people don't always fire up the game to check. So far, this has been my only major criticism, but I think it's finally registered that radio silence is, genereally, not conducive to popularizing your work, even if it is good.
