I don't ever leave reviews. This is one of the best RPG's I have ever played. The story, mechanics(dying and rezzing), gear, various activities, its just extremely well done. I love this development team. Let me know how I can support you guys on your next two games including SD2!!!

This game is a very interesting (even if somewhat janky) project. It is mostly an exploration ARPG with the TItan Quest/Grim Dawn RPG system. So, what does this game have? [*] Titan Quest RPG system. There are more masteries than TQ had, but each of them has less skills in it and overall depth of the system isn’t really that high. It does its job tho and you can have 4 masteries activated at a time. The main difference from TQ is that all your stats are upgraded passively when you are using corresponding skills (which is an extremely underused system nowadays). [*] Combat. The same as above - functional, working, but not really the best part of the game. It managed to both give me a feeling of being a demigod, when I just demolished everything in sight with magic, but at the same time there were a few cases where I was just shot dead in under a second by a few archer hobos - and those moments were extremely frustrating. [*] Unusual and interesting setting. There aren’t really many games that go for slavic myths, so it felt much more fresh than the usual norse/egyptian/greek mythology. [*] A rather big world that is actually interesting to explore. To be honest this is basically the selling point of the game. Most of my gameplay I spent just running around and exploring, and since the game doesn’t hold your hand and death for the character is one mistake away - the process was pretty thrilling. Considering that the game has alchemy and cooking - no matter where you go you will find at least something to do and to grab. [*] Story. I would say that the lore that you find around and some of the side quests were pretty good, the main story without the DLC - kinda ok, not really great, but it was somewhat unusual. [*] Jank. Well, there is some - a few strange ragdolls here, a few clippings into textures there - nothing major, but you can kind of tell that this is an indie project made by 2 people. Nothing gamebreaking though, so it is OK. Overall - the game was really enjoyable. It is one of those that you sit to play - and finish it without taking a day off to play something else. I can easily recommend this game to anyone who wants a good exploration game - just make sure to grab the DCL too, it adds way too much to pass on it.

TLDR - this is a really great janky action CRPG with a lot of depth! HIGHLY recommended. Oh yeah - get the DLC as well, it adds a lot! In more detail - This was actually a pretty amazing game! And despite the fact it is totally derivative in its component parts, it is also original in how it mixed them! When I first thought about buying it I wasn't sure if it some sort of quick play Diablo clone or something more like an infinity engine game or what... Well it is like a deep and slow moving version of Diablo with huge amounts of dialog and thoughtful lore! It is a real RPG not just a clickfest. I also kind of feel it has a little of the atmosphere and exploration chops of Gothic (and the jank, ha!). The world has a lot of depth, and it is pretty changeable as well. Your actions and the progress of time can change the world a bit. There are quite a few secrets and unmarked quets around as well. Plus weird activity can occur and characters/monsters can even sometimes kill each other without you getting involved - I had an unmarked quest to kill a demon in hiding in the world and then just before I found him he seems to have been eaten by a powerful Griffin LOL. I rocked up and killed the Griffin and then noticed another body there, and realised it was the guy I was hunting. Bit of anti-climax on the hunt, but also kind of cool. I mean, I think that was jank, but good reactive jankl! There are all these bit sbumping into each other and changing stuff without me doing it and yet somehow I never got soft-locked. I rarely see a world as adaptive as this that somehow hangs together! Compliments to the devs! Gameplay is kind of ironman - if (when) you die you reincarnate as a new person somewhere in the world. Each incarnation is likely to be best suited to a different class so you will end up playing a few, which is good because there is a lot of variety in classes. Note - best suited, you can play whatever class you want, its just some starting perks may nudge you one way or another. Eventually you may settle on a class you like - and at that point you can usually pick a character well suited to that class or otherwise massage things to be like you want, because at that point you will have the resources to retool yourself. But in the eaqrly stages you are encouraged to experiment. Further on this -when you die you get can usually go to your corpse and get your gear and money back. You also retain your 'soul leve' so your next character is going to be stronger. You do lose perks and curses and character stats though. But your next character may actually start stronger and better than the one who died as the is some RNg and also a few other factors controlling how strong a new character is. If you aren't 'lucky in that way and get a weaker character, there are ways to fast track stats etc growth again if you want to do so. So dying is not that big of a deal BUT it is not without cost either. Losing a great character is a bit sucky, but you will probably rebuild fast. Dying also makes the world a little more violent and chaotic - but this is not a big deal and you can either reverse it back to Order via various ways or even lean into it and embrace the Chaos and exploit it. It is a very forgiving ironman game. That said the game is janky and a little buggy and does expect you to accept the consequences of your actions - you can lose gear on companions and the like to bad luck, bad decisions or occasional bugs (there are a fair few bugs but they are almost all very minor inconveniences you will barefly notice) but really, it is no big deal. Just never give a buddy something you can't stand losing just in case. Also be sure to store anything you care about in a chest when you aren't using it. Note - you can get 'buddies' but they aren't very good and often die fast and can even get in the way. Mainly you are going to be playing solo or with animal allies... This is not really a party game. But if you feel you need a bit of help or want a horde mode that can be done... Your own carried stuff is safe, I never lost anything though I guess if you die in a really bad spot you just possibly could. The jank is actually baked in a bit - the game pokes fun at itself in some case - like the silly cart ride physics. Anyway, there is some good philosophy and reasonably deep thought baked into this game. The storyline is pretty good - albeit written a little crudely (English is not the author's first langauge, plainly). It also has the X factor in gameplay. I really enjoyed it and played through nearly every quest and explored everything. It is just really fun! :) Really great work given the teeny tiny dev team! I will be most interested in anything else they do! Oh yeah - the DLC is extremely worth it, and I'd argue you will be missing out on the complete experience if you don't get it. It adds in a lot - it is a real expansion. This game is an 8/10 easy. Maybe even a 9/10. It is not quite legendary GOAT material but it is bloody close! Top notch stuff, and an amaziong acheivement for a microscopic indy developer. Extremely recommended if you can stand a little jank and like CRPGs!

Amazing game. One of my all time favourite action RPGs. It is hard to believe that this was created by a husband and wife team from Bosnia. That's it. Just 2 people made this game. I've played this game for 44 hrs already and I haven't encountered a single bug. AAA companies need to take note and stop releasing bug laden garbage that needs 2 years of patches before it even becomes functional. This game is a labour of love. The depth of this game is phenomenal. It includes so many things including crafting, cooking, alchemy, fishing, magic etc. If you like games like Diablo II, Tyranny and Grim Dawn, this is a must buy. This other amazing thing about this game is the soundtrack and ambient sounds. The sound quality is unbelievable. You literally feel like you are sitting in a forest hearing the birds chirp. Do yourself a favour and get this game.

i did a necromancer build that actually worked because if you spawn a skeleton it takes 3 mana per second but there is so much customisability that let me progress this build from start to finish such as a ring which decreases mana used for summoned skeletons (note that summoned skeletons are there until they die) and since you can have as many skeletons as you want i had an army of over 100 skeletons and they shredded trough everything so i would say you should buy it i highly recommend it
