Damn, what a relaxing mechanic simulator. I spend 80+ hours refurbishing rusty hulks. Nice. If you like historic tanks.... I now can distinguish russian tanks from german tanks by the type of their tires, gears and barrels. Nice, useless knowledge.. I did not find controls to be clunky. No bugs to be seen here. Game mechanics work well, performance is fine on my rig.
Overall a good game, but I have some problems I must share: 1. The models, while extremely detailed, can be very inconsistent. One vehicle you can put together with nothing but sheer will, and another requires every bolt under the sun. 2. The extractions are dull. Plain and simple. More options for where the extraction takes place (i.e. swamps, deserts, overgrowth, firing ranges) and possibly more types of extractions might fix this outright. 3. Less of a real issue and more me being picky, the simulated bullet holes in the armor lack any sort of depth and damage. Makes it seem less like a tank and more like an origami piece. Other than that, it is a really relaxing game to play in your free time.
Weirdly satisfying but - and I cannot stress this enough - the game's UI hates each person individually and humanity as a whole. There's some pretty decent user-created guides in the guides section and reading those makes the game playable. Do yourself a favor and read a few of those before starting or you will be so, so, so lost and have an impossible headache of a time.
