One of my favorite games on steam. I beat it a while ago, but forgot to write a review. Great atmosphere, pacing, music, and fantastic boss fights. It's a challenging game, but once you get into the groove you'll be blowing away every creature who threatens your extinction. The bosses are definitely a highlight. They're varried and creative. If you're a fan of Soulslike games you'll be happy with the fights here. Additionally if you're a fan of Metroidvanias I can assure you that this is among the best of them. Definitely in my top 10. It's not very expensive, and you get more than your money's worth. I just wish they made a sequel or spiritual successor. Buy it now. You won't regret it.

I did not expect there to be no other enemies than bosses in this game. I did more expect environmental storytelling with occasional bosses and some other low and medium-level enemies. There are zero other enemies than the bosses. The first boss happens 2 minutes into the game, and you'll have to fight it half a dozen times to beat it. The next boss happens 10 minutes into the game, and this is where I quit. I'm not against this game, I'm sure I'll like it (hence the positive review). This review isn't against the game; it's against the advertising. The game I expected was more like a book where you fight your way to the next chapter. Instead I got a paragraph bookended by a boss fight. Again, I'm sure I'll like it when I do end up playing it, but it fails to live up to its advertising.

Thoughts: It was great, holoplates had some great way of thelling the story, enviroment, art, story, bosses were all beatiful. So it was janky and somewhat unpolished and many more things, like skipping the last boss by clipping out of map was pretty funny and didn't expected it but moments like these make these smaller games really fun to play. Thanks for the game and i am glad i could have played it.

Very pretty game with interesting themes. Not too much too do outside of the bosses which are mostly fun, though very unforgiving. You will call fish slurs you never thought you would before.
