The Deed : Dynasty is a great follow up game to The Deed. If you haven't played the Deed yet, I recommend you first start there yet it doesn't matter what order you play these games in. These games are great if you enjoy murder mystery kind of games. Although, What I like about Dynasty is that there are three different stories from three different time periods that you can invest your time in and try to get away with murder. The first game is short and only has one scenario, where as Dynasty has three scenarios. This in addition to plethora of murder weapons and items that you can pick up in order to do the murder is also great too and adds a lot of replay value. Keep in mind while playing this game, that it does matter how you talk to someone as well as what items you pick up and where you put them as well as what murder weapon you ultimately choose. When it comes to getting investigated every person in every scenario is heavily questioned and the whole house is searched. So, choices do ultimately matter in how the end result truly plays out! For example, in the first scenario in the Old English Castle, I tried to beat the man to death on the balcony and accidently fell to my death. In the second scenario in the Wild West Saloon, I murdered a man with a stripper's knife and tried to frame the dirty stripper as the killer but was caught in some lies by the dialogue system. These lies ended up coming back to bite me, when talking to the investigator as then I was seen as the main suspect! In which I wish I didn't lie as I could have gotten away with murder in this scenario because I had framed the stripper as the murderer pretty good! I was then sentenced to prison and died. Finally in the last scenario, I talked to everyone in the house and found out that one of my brothers had gotten mad and hit his wife who was also staying in the house weeks ago. I found this out from my father in a dialog choice in which my father was happy that my brother had hit his wife. Then while I was investigating the house, I found a note that was written from my other brother that I was going to kill that was addressed to his sibling but didn't tell which sibling it was addressed to and talked about how he would not lend any money to that sibling. I then ended up talking to my brothers wife and found out that my brother has recently lost his job at the bank and it put some stress on their family. Knowing what I knew about my brother hitting his wife and losing his job, I framed my brother by leaving the note written by my other brother in his room with his wife and then I went and killed my other brother. However, before I killed my other brother. I took the corkscrew bottle opener from the cellar and used it as my murder weapon. I took this as the murder weapon because my brother liked to drink in the cellar and I figured after killing my brother and the investigator finding the note that the corkscrew would also make sense. Fast Forward to the investigation part, My brother was ultimately found guilty for killing of my brother and was executed. Overall I give the Deed Dynasty a 7/10! It is much better than the Deed because it has more scenarios as well as more murder weapons and ways to fully engage in the gameplay it presents.

Love this series. It might be counter intuitive that the more conversation you make, the more suspicious you become, so plan ahead!
