The Fall is a great game with a really good story. It is like a -point-and-click shooter which keeps you on your toes and intensifies the stakes in a compelling way. It does however include some nigh-moon logic if you do not pay attention. It does however have some good humorous moments.

A gaming website I used to use is apparently shutting down so I'm going through my old posts to see if there's anything I want to archive, below is a comment I made about this game there about 10 years ago, with an added caveat at the end: I just finished it, I liked it, very much looking forward to the next episode. I consulted a guide a handful of times because sometimes I just had no idea what to do next. The twist in the end didn't make me go :0 but it was enough to make me very likely to buy the next episode. * I still haven't played the next episode

Incredibly impressive for a game made by 4 people. I am super excited to play the DLC. The only quarrel I have with the game is there is extremely little guidance on the puzzles. HOWEVER, I do understand this is a puzzle game, and I am also rather dumb. I just wish there was at least a minor clue system or something for the pea brains like me who had to repeatedly fall back on public guides to proceed.

Returning to The Fall reminds me of how games can challenge us in ways beyond just reflexes by forcing us to confront and question our own perspectives.

Really entertaining point-and-click adventure. It has a unique gameplay that differentiates it from any other game of its genre. The narrative was the best part. The mystery and intrigue are managed with seemingly expert hands. I love Sci-fi, so I'm biased, but the setting was super cool. Even though the premise seems generic, the story ends up being as distinctive as its gameplay. The difficulty of the puzzles might be my only problem. In general, it's pretty satisfactory, but there are some spikes in some puzzles that become insurmountable. I had to use a guide to get through. The thing is, the story had me so interested that I didn't really care. There are some surprisingly funny bits too. Check this one out!
