It tells the story of one angry looking little princess full of attitude, with a bit of humour and darkness, which eventually reveals a heartwarming metaphor. Point and click sections without action sequences work great, less so when gameplay becomes at times comparable to Dragon's Lair with single-answer timed responses. No character movement, just click on stuff, the protagonist will move if necessary and get it done. Positive [*] Fantastic backgrounds and animations [*] Storybook intro sets up a conventional fairytale [*] Nice character design (only Tsioque has big unnatural eyes) [*] Original mechanics and mostly logical puzzles [*] Nice point and click puzzle logic flow [*] Great soundtrack + VO [*] Reveals its plot twist nicely and credibly [*] Cute, without pretense Negative [*] Lots of small action sequences, fail, die, retry immediately, almost like QTEs [*] Disconcertingly low FPS, sometimes below 30 [*] Annoying staircase click fest sequence
Lovely game that took me back to the golden age of adventure games. It's an enchanting game with great humour. Also beautiful animation, music and sound. The puzzles are fun and seldom difficult, but challenging enough. Could also imagine it being fun to play with your kids. All in all a wonderful experience. Looking forward to trying the studio's other games.
