I forgot how much of a gem this game was that I write this review years after playing the game. Totally had a blast playing it! If you like casual survival without having to spend 200 hours in building your base and making it look nice, this is the game! Your base is your raft and your world is the river. The survival mechanics are deep enough to be interesting, but not super sophisticated. Crafting is also easy and intuitive. A game for casual indie survival enjoyers.

A bit repetitive but I liked the survival aspect, it wasn't an easy game, especially if you're aiming to upgrade your gear to the maximum. I'm not sure about the end of the game as I think I didn't understand it... or maybe there just wasn't much into it.

Very nice little game. Doesn't have a lot of content, but just enough to keep one engaged for 4 - 5 hours. Story mode is beatable in about the same amount of time. The artstyle and the music is the absolute vibe. The main character's face, however, needs something to be done about it. The health portrait as well... They cooked how unsettling those are lol Difficulty is another weird aspect. It starts off challenging, intimidating even, since the game throws strong enemies at you before you figure out how to deal with them. Afflictions will get in the way a lot, some of them are too easy to get and hard to get rid of. However, after a few hours and enough resources the game becomes trivial. Least you become complaisant, there are not enough curve-balls late game to create a compelling, tense situations. Which is not necessarily a bad thing. Achievements are mildly annoying.

Owned the game on Xbox One in 2018 before I got a PC. Eventually bought the game again here and beat the campaign for real. Good things: The game is just as jank as I remember it, down to every sliding character model and oblivious enemy. The game's difficulty is perfect for me, keeping it a constant challenge. The game includes developer commentary, which is always a plus for me. The story is never pushed in your face, with almost no cutscenes impeding gameplay. Bad things: The rain is just as annoying as I remember it being, happening nearly constantly. Bosses, such as the Elder Wolf , have somewhat underwhelming rewards. And, of course, the persistent 'ILL EQUIPPED' status that means nothing to me, since there are so many ways to recover lost heat. Regardless, this game's unique charm and hilarious jank makes up for all the negatives, though I admit that may be nostalgia talking. 100% worth a try at least, especially for the price. It's nice and simple, and you can always refund it.

I'm very sad. I've been playing this game since its release on PlayStation because of a Saudi YouTuber. I was truly captivated by the art style, music, and the very interesting concept of the game. The flood reminds me of the Moomins anime. The game is full of potential, and my sadness stems from the fact that the developers abandoned it. I wish they would make some fixes and improvements. The developers have really beautiful and interesting ideas, but I see them abandoning their games and not giving them enough support.
