This is one of those games that was heavily discounted, so I thought, why not buy it? More games added to the backlog, I guess, haha. BUT!! I honestly did not expect to enjoy this game as much as I did since I had pretty low expectations going into it. The gameplay is surprisingly satisfying. Vacuuming all the gunk out just feels so good, and somehow it made me want to keep doing more. It’s a simple, short and fun adventure game, and I honestly got hooked by the satisfaction of cleaning everything up. The story is alright too. It’s pretty interesting and keeps you curious enough to want to play from start to finish. Overall, at the discounted price I got it for, this game was a **HUGE STEAL!** and I encourage you guys to try it out!

The Gunk is one of those games you start playing expecting to spend just an hour, but before you know it, seven hours have passed. Cleaning up the alien goop is oddly satisfying and almost therapeutic, while the world has a subtle beauty that encourages you to keep progressing. The game isn't revolutionary, but sometimes, a relaxing and beautiful little adventure is exactly what you need.
Game gave me some relaxed chilltime. Especially good as intermezzo between long sessions with other games or a stressfull day at work. Nice story. Feel good ending. Little to no fighting. Mostly puzzles and story. And a very tiny bit timing. Good for those of us that want to relax.
The Gunk is a short and sweet game that surprised me in a really good way. It doesn’t try to be complicated or overly long, but it still manages to say something meaningful. Through a journey on a dying alien planet, the game gently reflects on pollution and the damage it causes to nature something that feels uncomfortably close to our own world. The gameplay is simple and satisfying, the atmosphere is calming yet sad at times, and the message comes through without being forced. A small experience, but one that leaves an impact.
two lesbians obsessed with alien pipe. dialogue is absolutely atrocious and Becky is an entirely unlikable character. Her "heroism" at the end doesn't really redeem her and she continues to be insufferable through the credits. if it's on sale it's ok. you'll get about 5 hours out of it...some of the puzzles were frustrating because you have a bomb timer making it nearly impossible to aim correctly and reach the right spot but whatever.
