im an actual daytrader, the opening scene was funny. this is a funny satire game you gotta pump those numbers up, those are rookie numbers i think the weakness of the game is that although it is funny, the gameplay loop is bad and repetitive. Do X to make Y go up or down, rinse and repeat. There is also no speedup feature.

A short and sweet game, basically make money, knock out your rival traders and then go into endless mode. The nice bit about the game was that options were available to you bit by bit so dividends would come late in the game, you have lobbiests, you can short stocks, you can either play the game honestly or cheat, there will be a price to pay if you cheat. One bad thing about endless mode is that you'll get called by the same guy almost every day with the same message.

The Invisible Hand is a fun little indie game that any victim of late-stage capitalism can probably get a kick out of. I feel that the developers could have delved further into the critique of corporate culture and the financial institutions that exploit our systems, but overall, it's a light-hearted, comedic simulation game with an enjoyable gameplay loop that I'm sure has some deeper meaning for those willing to invest more time into it.

I bought the game for $3 and it was definitely worth it despite having been a day trader in the past and it being nothing like the real thing. Realize that this is a simulation and understand that there are unavoidable pitfalls and it may as well be NTR because you're going to lose the millions that you made. Go and make decisions and learn just to find out that things change. By the way, you can sell stocks even if you make dividends. I don't know what that's all about.
