𖤐𖤐𖤐𖤐 While it is a shame that this game was abandoned by the developers, at least it wasn't left in the sorry state Friday the 13th was. This game, as of making this review, still has a player base large enough to get into matches fairly quickly and there isn't really any bugs or cheaters that I've noticed. The mechanics are great and not too complicated once you figure it all out. There's enough complexity to keep each match unique and interesting but not so much that it feels overwhelming. In my opinion this is a very polished game. Gameplay aside, as a fan of the TCM franchise this game is great. The attention to detail in the maps is insane and the graphics are beautiful. Really is a shame this didn't last longer as there are so many other characters and maps to pull from in the franchise. All in all I think this game was worth my time and money. Edit: Took me 116 hours to 100% this and I think my overall thoughts are still the same but I gotta say I really enjoyed it for the most part and I'm gonna miss it. I mained Johnny and often got 3-4 kills per game. It was a blast. I got other games I want to play so with my 100% and 116 hours, it's time to put down the knife and retire but I will look back on this fondly. Probably the most fun I've had on an asymmetrical.

ATTENTION ALL NEW PLAYERS!!! This game is a lot of fun but will be VERY DIFFICULT for you to come in now. The main player base that remains is DEDICATED and GOOD at the game, at least in terms of knowing where everything is and how to play with their preferred characters. Connie seems to be such a good character she is almost always picked but is the 'obsession" (dbd ref) of the characters able to open doors fast but the killers will all dust off their mics just to make sure they can communicate for the first time ever in online gaming even just to make sure you die first. The rest of the survivors are about the same in learning time and effectiveness from evading the killer family. Killer is "fun" depending on if you find a survivor or not along with knowing how to be useful to the other players who most likely have mroe hours than you. As for the players themselves, sometimes everyones nice and welcoming with a few hints to match. Other times theyre very mean and toxic. There is a mute all button on the bottom right if they dont seem like mature players. Overall its fun but its essentially like coming into a friend group thats been to hell and back together and you trip coming in the door if that makes any sense. Its def worth the 3-4 bucks buuuut... from the lack of empathy and patience from the established players. I dont see many sticking to it for long that just came in. So whether youre a killer, survivor or just wanna have some random fun before the HALLOWEEN game comes out. GLHF!

People compare this to Dead by Daylight and say DbD is better, but this game is actually really good. It's sad to see it get abandoned. 7/10

400+ hours & maxed out on xbox app and I can honestly say I just miss the prime of this game, was one of my favourite aysm horrors. I wish that the devs could have not let us down like they have, there was a lot of false promises, yet they gave up on tcsm to make a different game. however I will still recommend as this game as it feels wrong not to, in its peak it was lowkey life changing for me but maybe I'm bias as I love the franchise, just be aware that devs have given up with it.

I love this game but I hate the developers for abandoning the game. I get why they had to shut down Friday the 13th but for this game, it was their personal decision to not give any further updates. I think this game is a very realistic asymmetrical horror game that makes you feel like you are actually in a horror slasher movie. To be honest, I love Dead by daylight too. but DBD feels like a fantasy horror with those supernatural entity and realm. But this game, It's pure horror. Killers are normal people with disturbing stuffs on their mind. every costumes in the game feels like they are actually blending with the game world with. In this game, you are not transported to another realm or something. you are just a bunch of students trying to escape from the killer family after being kidnapped. That makes it feels very real, scary and thrilling. It stands out from other asymmetrical horror games. I am a fan of slasher movies and I feel like I'm in one everytimes I play. That's what I love about this game but I think we ( as community ) didn't get to experienced this enough. I don't have friends to play this game together and I don't recommend them to buy it now even when they want to play because the devs stopped caring about the game and they are looking forwards to peer to peer connection. $19.99 is too much for a game that's dead. They should give the game away for free for a limited amount of time to bring more players and revive the game. Hope you try to revive this Gun.
