Remothered: Broken Porcelain functions as both a prequel and a sequel to Remothered: Tormented Fathers which was excellent and I really loved the 1st game but you need to really like puzzles and above all stealth! otherwise you won't enjoy both of them. I don't know whether to recommend this game or report it. The AI got stuck. I got stuck. The enemies got stuck. At one point I got stuck outside the map. Then I discovered a bugged talent that gave me infinite moth keys by repeatedly blocking a bathroom door, so I became a millionaire while two of my pursuers forgot how to function. The controls occasionally take coffee breaks, the story feels like it was assembled during a fever dream, and the entire game is held together by duct tape and pure determination. 10/10 experience. 5/10 game. If you're looking for a glorious trainwreck, welcome home.
Okay this was way better than the first one. It still had some frustrating hide and seek mechanics. Once you passed those the game was fun to explore around and learn more about the story. They just recently announced a third, so I'm hoping the game will be improved further.
Ok, I love these games because of the story. That is why I recommend this. But the gameplay, well... not sure how they got it worse in all aspects from the previous game. Did they want to make this an RPG? Upgrade items, upgrade skills... for what? I did not use any of these things, completely forgot they existed by the end of the game. The stalkers here, especially when they are 3, are pure chore to go through. I mean, who needs so many of them in the same place? The first one worked great with one... Honestly hope they fix these things for the 3rd, because as I said, I love the story! But if you're not a fan of the story, then skip this. It will just make you angry.
