Its cheerful science-fiction presentation hides a surprisingly demanding experience where a seemingly successful journey can collapse after one poorly handled battle. Each expedition takes place across a procedurally generated universe. Maps, encounters, enemies, and available items can change between attempts, so players cannot simply memorize one perfect route. Progress involves choosing a path through space, surviving hostile encounters, collecting equipment, and gradually improving the ship. The roguelite structure makes survival important because failure can bring a promising run to an abrupt conclusion. This gives decisions concerning equipment and resources more weight than the colorful presentation initially suggests. Ship combat is the centerpiece of the experience. Battles occur in real time, requiring players to attack hostile vessels while simultaneously maintaining their own spacecraft. This game is if FTL and overcooked had a baby. A galactic battle baby. Max 4 crew members isn't what i expected, but it makes sense. I wish this had 8 player/crew member max. Also if this game had boarding enemy ship and attacking enemy crew members that would be so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cool. So for the limit of guns allowed on the ship is 2, making the game challenging to beat. It is more fun with friends then bots. atleast there is bots though. If you want that FTL multiplayer experience, here it is!
