A lot of fun! Can't be played on the Steam Deck at all, which is unfortunate. That meant I had to actually sit at my desk, heaven forbid.

Two chapters in and so far so good. Town Mystery has been interesting and entertaining and provided just the right amount of challenge to be a good casual puzzle game. Depending on how it plays out from here on, I'd estimate I'll be giving this a strong recommendation and a score of 8-9,5/10. EDIT 2024_12_22: I'm in chapter 14 and still enjoying the game. EDIT 2024_12_26 Finished the game and its one extra chapter. Was nice to collect 100% achievements too. This Was a good puzzle game! 9/10

Overall i liked this point and click puzzle. There was a neat little story, some great eastereggs and i liked most of the puzzles. However there also are some really far fetched and not enjoyable puzzles, for which you could use the expandable hint-system. Which sadly plain and simple tells you the solution for a riddle, instead of trying to help you solve it yourself first. The feature about turning the room i got used to pretty fast, eventhough it felt kinda clunky relatively often. I hope the developer gets to smooth it up, for this games successor.

I absolutely loved this game. I have replayed it at least twice (if not three times) and am chomping at the bit for their next one (Rift Escape) to come out. It's so rare that I find a game where they manage to get the puzzle difficulty just right - not so easy that it's not challenging, and not so difficult that you give up and go look up a walkthrough. Some are pretty tough, but all seemed fair, and I never got (very) frustrated. There's a lot of content here, for a reasonable price. It's pretty clearly a mobile port, but it's very well done, and I'd much rather play on the PC. If you like escape puzzle type games, I can't recommend this one highly enough.

Great point and click detective game! Puzzles can be quite challenging especially later on, but there does exist a very nice help system for when you absolutely need it! I almost completed the whole game in one sitting without meaning too just because I was so hooked! The story itself is fun to figure out. The only thing I wish they had added was a notepad to write down certain notes and number combinations so that you didn't have to try to remember it all in your head. Would recommend to anyone who likes detective games and/or point and click adventures.
