it's ok. i stopped after my first ending ( throwing away the mask ), but it was a decent, short experience. it never really gripped me, but it's a decent buy if on sale. i don't think it really shines in any particular area, and you're not really punished that hard for progressing in the "bad" way (e.g. sometimes, i couldn't figure out how to solve something peacefully, so i'd do the shady option like shooting the lock in the police department, and it didn't really feel like that ended up mattering)
I fell in love with this game it's about detective woman named Ito, that goes really trough a lot of hardships Reina, her own husband and other lurking dangers of the mask that plays with your sanity. I would really recommend to buy this game it's definitely worth it full price developers really poured in this game their heart
A short mystery-adventure with a fairly interesting story to unravel and simple puzzles that still made me feel clever for solving them. Does a great job at building tension, and the price while on sale is excellent value for how well everything is presented. There's also some good replay value if you want to find all the hidden endings. Looking forward to seeing more from this studio!
There's a couple scenes that are flashy on the system, but Tokyo Dark delivers a dark chilling story about a detective whose has lost their partner in a horrific crime. After a single run is complete, the game offers for you to go back and skip scenes and try to piece together other routes in the story to encompass the bigger picture. The choices you make through the story do affect the outcome and ending you get and you'll be surprised where it all goes. Great story and narrative, I would give this a solid 9/10.
