For a £15/$20 game it's incredible how much this destroys the current AAA racing game industry who have larger budgets. Positives - The physics are well done and remind you of the game it's trying to replicate, Flatout. Car damage is excellent and every hit feels impactful with a good amount of slow-mo for those bigger impacts. Something not often talked about is how amazing the UI/Menu/Hud design is. Whoever did it needs a raise because it's both stylized and readable, blowing the water out of most boring, minimalist UI designs of racing games today. The cutscenes are so cheesy, almost GMOD movie parody level of jank and cheesy, to the point where it loops back around to being charming and iconic. With questionable voice acting and character parodying to boot. Tons of gamemodes to play around with too. With a healthy amount of cars to unlock and upgrade. Despite Unreal Engine having a lot of poorly optimized "slop" nowadays, this game both looks excellent and runs surprisingly well. Not a single crash which is a rarity when it comes to Unreal Engine games these days. - Negatives The engine sounds are quite weak, trying to use manual is difficult due to this especially when trying to focus on what other carnage is going on during a race. Where you can't hear or tell what gear/RPM you're at when needing to change gears. Would be nice to have improvements there.

Trail Out is the FlatOut 4 we deserved—pure chaotic madness! Having played BeamNG and Wreckfest, this game is way more fun, though Wreckfest still wins in destruction. The AI? Both fun and annoyingly aggressive, constantly shoving you off the track. The car collection is massive, with crazy rides to smash and crash. The story is surprisingly hilarious yet somewhat thoughtful. Explosions, ragdoll mayhem, and non-stop action make this a must-play for thrill seekers. If you love chaos, this game delivers!

TRAIL OUT Positives: + Mostly good graphics + Nice sounds and music + Good handling + Acceptable physics + Nice sense of speed + A lot of cool cars to drive + Destruction at its best + A whole lot of fun + Nicely designed tracks to destroy + Different game modes (including stunt mode) + Cheesy in a good way + Quite a lot of options for adjustments + Good length (about 12 hours in the main campaign) Negatives: - Severe fps drops thats hurting the flow of the game (trying to camouflage it with slow-mos dosent help) - Bugs and glitches - No proper online multiplayer mode (only local split-screen) - Extremely bad voiceacting - The story is below pair - Inconsistent AI - The last boss fight with Woods is underwhelming - New game+ is just doing the same things all over again, but with worse conditions (where is the fun in that?) If you loved Flatout, youre gonna love this game as well. Its heavily inspired by it to say the least. And its a whole lot of fun with all its destruction and mayhem. This is the proper Flatout 3! Total Score: 7.5/10

Yeah, its true, the animations are straight a$$, mocap could be done better in roblox, the voice acting is awful, there are some technical issues and all the other goodies that come with being an obvious eurojank game. Imagine Vladik Brutal but with cars. But daayyyuuuum the vehicular combat, destruction and physics are wild!!! I haven't giggled so hard over a driving game since 12yo me was playing Burnout 3 on PS2!! If you want that good old Burnout vehicular combat but modernised and even more destruction than before then buy this gem of a game!!! NOW!!! But if you're looking for hyper realistic driving sim that takes itself waaayyyy too seriously and is a borefest to play then I wouldn't even buy this on sale... Bottomline: Broombroom go boomboom? Buy! Broombroom go into 1st, then 2nd, 3rd, shift down to 2nd in the turn to slow back down to 20kmh so can you actually make the turn, check the rearview so you're sure you're not hitting anything, make the turn, shift again up to 3rd, then 4th, then shift back down to blahblahblah Don't buy! It's that simple!

This game is Flatout mixed with memes, popular game references. Besides the voice acting, developed by 4 people is insane. I really recommended this game for sure
