WELL WORTH A FEW DOLLARS! Older game I had never heard about, Cute and can be a bit challenging / strategic, depending on how you approach the game.

Good old days. Man, I made a Steam account just to get this game and Terraria back in 2015. This marks the 10-year anniversary of me being on this platform. I can’t believe time has flown by so fast. i'm going to cry right now.

This is quite the enthralling, spellbinding little game that caught me by surprise, as at first glance it seems to be a cheap, cutesy looking and simple Tower Defence. And while a Tower Defence it is, trivialising it to that genre obfuscates so much more behind it - the breeding and tactical elements. If you want it to, this game goes pretty deep... Your various mythical beasties have wants and needs, from dislike for certain other unholy creations, to seeking certain items in their homes or outcomes over time - all of which affect their stats and capabilities. The weakest starter unit can be made tenfold stronger through satisfaction and rewards. And then you can breed your monsters and doing this over time significantly increases those essential capabilities, through the roof if you are patient enough to. And as you progress you can, of course, level up the category of each genre, which then leads to a tough choice of levelling up the powers of a starter monster, or trading them up for the next level. It's not easy (but is possible) to concentrate on both tactics. All this leads to a huge variation of different build strategies, housing location for different units and working out wicked combos - and you'll need it because the enemies get very hard if you're caught unawares! To illustrate the various approaches you could take, the nicely appointed achievements lead you to attempt different challenges and explore new outcomes. All of this was far, far more than I expected for such a cheap price - this is great value for money for a clever, deep strategy game.

Nice little game, very addictive, the price is right

This is a casual and fun apartment management tower defense game. Once you get used to it and get the hang of it, it's easy to play, but anyone can complete it if they take their time even if they just play casually, so you can play at a leisurely pace while still getting into it. The characters are cute, so if you like the visuals and atmosphere, I think it's well worth buying. It's a great game with great value for money.
