This is what happens when Slay the Spire, Darkest Dungeon, and a fairy tale fever dream collide at high speed. I didn’t expect much. But turns out, managing your sausage rations while commanding a wagon of tiny anarchists through cursed forests is… oddly therapeutic? Combat is tight. Positioning matters. So does resource planning. It’s not just a comedy game - there’s legit strategy here. The variety of cards and interactions surprised me. You’ll fail a few runs early on, but once you learn to work with modifiers and wagon upgrades, it clicks. Can’t wait to see what they add next. Highly replayable and refreshingly original. Would I recommend it? If you've ever wanted to overthrow a fairy tale regime with cards and gnome rage: yes. Yes, you should.

It’s a mix of deckbuilding, tactical battles, and dungeon-crawling, with a fairy-tale-gone-wrong theme. Each run, you build your deck while exploring a randomly generated map, collecting resources, and upgrading your wagon. It is enough of a twist to keep it interesting while keeping the meat and potatoes of card battler in place. The uniqueness comes from the exploration part, since rather than nodes (that are present in the story mode), you explore the map with resources (food). It’s sort of Roguebook or even Darkest Dungeons-style, although admittedly not that hard. But it’s a fun new layer of the gameplay where you need to search for the boss first and the path to them but you are also free to wander around the map and backtrack to gather more resources/artifacts before moving forward.

I'll say that I enjoy the game. I think the design is nice, humor is good and it has some positives in the card system. However, the food system is horrible... you need food to move or you lose gnome cards out of your deck, but food also allows you to cast your special abilities, which are pretty necessary on some of these fights. They put birds in that have no cap in how many can summon like in other Roguelike Deckbuilders, so unless you get the exact amount of damage with crystals to use you are sitting in an infinite cycle of spawn summons. It gets tedious. It causes you to use your special abilities that cost food which is already at a premium to then get closer to zero food where you start losing gnome cards out of your deck. I really hope the developers either fix the food system by giving you much more food to start, removing food as a currency to move forward on the map, or just remove the food system all together. I do recommend this game to anyone looking for a fun roguelike deckbuilder. However I am going to mark it as a "No" so that the devs receive this feedback and fix the mechanics plaguing it. I will update my rating if that changes. Update: I said I'd come back if the game was updated and the sausage system was fixed and it hasnt been perfected, but it is better than it was and with some rebalances that were done the game is worth a purchase for anyone that wants a fun deckbuilder. Thumbs up.

I am really enjoying this game, It’s funny, bright but charming. You have a hero gnome (your character archetype) that leads a wagon of gnomes (your deck) that you will move along the map within a traditional Rogue type map but with a twist. You gotta manage your wieners! Yup, you gotta feed those little guys and they consume wieners. So you balance team strength with wiener consumption and that adds an interesting layer of gameplay at the map level. Inside combat you see all the familiar mechanic with an added layer of wieners that you can also spend for big perks or buff but that can also mean you come up short on feeding your gnomes, so what does that mean? Every time you move one gnome in your caravan will faint and be unusable for the next combat and then return to active. This cycle continues until you obtain more wieners. I think it’s a fair system but opinions seem split on this mechanic. This is currently a k/m game but there is a downloadable community control support accessible through the steam control layouts screen. If you’re a Steam Deck user you have the added functionality of the touchscreen allowing you to play this like a tablet game. I did this for a full play through and it worked flawlessly. At this point in its EA phase it seems to be a pretty well fleshed out game with a solid foundation to start on. I’ve had minor graphic hick ups, 2 lag moments that lasted about 5 seconds and no crashes, with 4 and half hours of game time at the time of this review. TLDR: Games funny, musics mid, combat is solid, they bring and interesting layer of gameplay with their wiener mechanics. Runs great on Steam Deck out of the box. This Gn0m3 BUY!

needs work for sure. I like the premise, The difficult part is balancing your food with the gnomes. I feel that the starting ten cards is all you need since, RNG can be a pain. I had a run where the only place to get food was at the end. fastest run I ever failed. I feel "mana" is such a weird concept for some cards. like My character is an "archer" yet he cant shoot basic cards with out mana? it seems only melee cards, do not require mana. There are a lot of cards that require Mana, and some cards are like ok, but need work. some cards are to expensive for what you get out of them. Good luck out there my fellow gnomes!
