Good anti-war puzzle game that focuses more on telling stories about the people caught in a time of war. Recommended for history nerds or people who just want a better sense of what World War I actually felt like. It’s not an FPS or a typical “war game,” so it doesn’t try to make soldiers look cool. Instead, it focuses on showing the real horrors of war and the small moments of kindness that survive in the middle of such a troubled time. What I really liked is how it shows different sides of the war. Not just soldiers, but also medics, civilians, POWs, war dogs, and the huge role women played in the rear and even on the frontlines. It makes the whole thing feel like a collection of real lives leaning on each other just to survive. That human focus also carries into the themes. I liked how the devs managed to present ideas like love for humanity, sacrifice, and friendship between comrades who trust each other with their lives. Gameplay-wise, some puzzles definitely had me stuck for a bit. I even had to wait for the pigeon to deliver hints. 😂 But honestly, the slower pace fits the tone of the story. And if you’re someone who gets emotional with sad stories, this game might give you emotional damage. I’m pretty familiar with grim war narratives, but there were still moments that made me go “aww” and feel so heavy I had to quit and come back later after recovering. On top of all that, the soundtrack is FIRE! Especially the Can-Can music during the taxi chase sequence. Perfectly timed with the gameplay. Heartfelt and heavy in a good way. Was definitely worth my time.

one of the coolest history games ive played not to mention how it pulled on my heart strings... alot of interesting facts about war i never knew... anywho its worth a play if you enjoy learning about history and simply controls <3
