I have a lot of love for this project. I've been following it since 2022. However, my biggest gripe with the game is simply the AI and the scenario editior. The AI is really annoying since they still can't be blocked from making white peace deals or from doing random diplomacy. Because of the obnoxious AI, it feels very discouraging to edit scenarios because the AI will just go off the rails.

As a frequent videogame enjoyer, I believe that this is a very good strategy game, even it's sandbox is fun, with the ability to just send hundreds of thousands of troops at France.

45 year old gamer here. I love Warnament because of its simplicity and easy to get into after few days of not playing. I dont have spare time of few hours for playing because of family, job and other duties. I had when I was younger hours and hours of time for gaming. This game is perfect for quick get into, play, leave, come back other day and get back into. Its easy and yet enough satisfying enough to think what to do next during play. Excellent game I play since I bought it....I hope devs keep updating it and make it even better.

It's like an elaborate game of Risk on steroids. Tech trees, buildings, moving armies and attacking/defending is intuitive. BUT... why are they charging for a DLC that should be included with their game? I mean seriously.. a Visuals and Animations pack?!? I'm all for supporting developers, but I am sorry... this should be included with the main game, no? -- It's like making a FPS shooter game but not including the sounds of the guns without buying the DLC. haha! So let's make a strategy game that's pretty much all TEXT based with barely any visuals and then charge the public if they want the visuals and animations. Dumb!
