Dec. 2025
I remembered playing this game back in May 2023 when it first released on GXGames and they were handing this game out for free. I finished it, and my God when I tell you that this game's ending impacted me in ways I couldn't begin to start with. I've never had been through a rollercoaster of emotions like this before. I enjoyed the humor, up until the heart-wrenching / touching ending, It lived in my head rent free up until I got the game recently on Steam again. I knew what I was expecting, but everything about this game's storytelling was built so well that no matter how long has it been, the ending still made me cry. Yes, I understand the critics that game from this game and the comments I've seen from other people talking about this. But, I want to express my opinion on it. Despite it has been 2 years since I last played this game, it still held up good memories and a well-paced storytelling. I've noticed criticism of the game's lack of gameplay, especially how inconsistent the multiverse mechanic can be. I understand that angle of criticism, but I think it's done wonderfully especially through the storytelling that's being told here. The mechanic changes depending on the environment and situation our character ends up being, and I think it's fair. The humor really helps me be attached to the characters, and towards the end of the game, it becomes more dark and personal. That whiplash was unlike anything I've experience before, it was almost like a reality check. This is also another cricitism I've read, but I personally don't think the switch up in moods / pacing is a bad thing here. I liked how it transitioned from a goofy game in the beginning, up into something more serious towards the end. Overall, I just really, really enjoyed this game and I'm showing my support by purchasing this game again on Steam with my own money instead of GXGames giving it for free back in 2023. I heavily recommend this game for the characters and storytelling.

Can often be found for sale <$5 (currently $2.25 at the time of this review) 10h of content; 250MB of space; 30% of players have the achievement for beating the game. Respects your time, hard drive space, and delivers enough staying power that a significant enough amount of players actually finish the game. Just a fairly straight forward puzzle platformer whose primary gimmick involves shifting between parallel universes - each chapter contains a universe with a different gimmick (e.g. reversed gravity).

You can transcend to different universes. Gameplay is good fun and has many different ideas you play around with in each chapter of the game. The gameplay & story feels like a strong 10/10 it kept me interested and engaged with the overall plot the characters were pretty well written I'd say and the play is a 10/10.

This game concept is unfathomably simple yet it’s executed perfectly and well enough that I’ll struggle with a puzzle but still be able to figure it out without just bashing my head against a wall for hours. The story is great while holding that goofy aspect and running gags. A sequel would complete my life 11/10

Honestly, one of the most fun games I've played of all time. I love the universe-swap platforming, always have, and it's so well done in this game. The characters are fun, and the story and interactions are engaging. My only possible complaints are that the game simply isn't long enough, and I wish I could do more multiverse platforming. Can't wait to go back for the secrets I missed and another playthrough. P.S. I have no idea how it works, but if the Devs could get point store items added, I would 100% be getting them.
