Nunu and his Yeti best friend Willump were always my favourite League of Legends champions, even years after I dropped the game for good. So when I heard they get their own fully 3D Singleplayer Adventure you just know I had to be there. It's quite maginificent how this game presents a deeper look into the Runterra or more specifically Frejord. THis world has never felt so immersive and alive before. Ontop of all the lore presented here it's filled to the brim with fanservice that Fans of League of Legends both old and new will appriciate. The only real downside here is how this game does not reinvent the wheel gameplay wise. You get some simple fights, the obligatory climbing sections and puzzles you have probably done elsewhere before. Also the pacing can be very slow at times. But this just ensures that the game stays this chill little experience that doesn't ask to much from you or overstays it's welcome. It just doesn't really mover things forward gameplay wise. All in all, this is a perfect little weekend game for league of legends fans that delivers pretty much what you it. it's jsut a massive shame that Riot Forge already shut down at this game shows the potential that the League of Legends IP had besides the main game.
Little boy and his oversized friend go on an adventure to find the meaning of their lives. Sounds simple and it is. But that's all this story needs to be. Their relationship is wholesome, the game is well-paced and engaging, the visuals and music captivating and in the end, their odyssey leaves a lasting impression on your heart. Fully recommend.
From the start i will like to say. I like the lore of League of Legends (Runeterra etc.) Playing the game since 2011 fully got into it after Turkish server was online, Riot games respect and care for their players nah im joking. My expectations was all time low but with full honesty i liked the game and im fully ok with the whole journey i had playing this game. Freljord is located in the main continent of Valoran, Many of the primal gods located and from there such as Anivia, Volibear, Ornn etc. Which this game has all of them in or mentioned. Lore of the champions of League. Their advanture is to find Anivia's half heart for Nunu's mother which she visits Nunu but controlled by the ice witch herself so that she can learn where the last Yeti the guardian of Anivia's half so that she can aquire for herself, the advanture set by ice witch lissandra to help her froze watchers.
