It's like if Battlefield and TF2 had a baby that turned out to be a furry, give this game a chance if you like aggressive shooters mmm rabbet

I don't know why I want this furry game to succeed so badly. It is 2025 though so who knows. Literally a battlefield third person hero-shooter and I am here for it. The animalistic crawling is what got me and boy, is it fun af. I really want this to succeed. It is dead a little bit right now in the US East servers, but I think it is due to a bot experience for the first 10 levels I hope, like other reviews have said. EDIT: it kinda was. I wish if there weren't players it would just give a bot match but it says you need 16 to play or something like that sometimes when it's really dead and I don't think that is fair for how dead the game kind of is for being early access and having this furry meme attatched to it. It also reminds me of that one hero shooter game Rogue Company but Battlefield. Anyway. I love it. Play it. Please.

It's Furry Battlefield. The gameplay is absolutely solid, even if you're not a furry, but the devs know their audience.

Look, you know what you are getting into. this game knows its audience VERY well. Anyway this game is basically Furry Third-Person Battlefield with Characters instead of Classes. No vehicles, but everyone has a four legged sprint to go faster. I do not agree with its battlepass released in early access on day 1, The characterse are also constantly talking. You can hear both enemies and allies yelling things making it difficult to distinguish sound queues. Some of the characters seem a bit powerful, but thats to be expected in early access. This is definitely a game that will make you say "I'm not a Furry, but....". The Characters are all very stereotypical, yet adorable. The Skunk uses Gas, the Bear is tanky, the Panda does kungfu and launches rockets, the Bunny is mobile, the Fox is thirsty. Great game. Highly recommend to anyone who likes furrys or battlefield. Don't worry, we wont judge either way.

Early access game. So expectations were low, especially since I only found out about this game like the day prior to it's early access launch. Been a blast to play. Furries everywhere. Has it's issues. I'm an Aussie, no server for us. So I'm stuck with 130 MINIMUM ping in the Asian server. And it shows. There is a noticeable delay in regards to weapon swapping, ability usage, and even movement. Because my ping loses to everyone else, if I'm trying to move and someone bumps into me, I will rubber band back. This has gotten me killed SO MANY TIMES. Also, Body blocking. Can be handled by giving your teammates space. Sadly bots are so damn stupid and as far as I'm aware follow some rather obvious paths, which will involve running into you and blocking you from getting to cover. I don't hate the bots, but they could do with some more work. Also, Damage is.. odd. Is it normal for all explosive damage to pierce through any sized obstacle? My main issue is with the Panda. His kit has 2 explosive weapons, his rocket launcher, and his mortar ult. Pierces all obstacles and walls. I'm HOPING this is a bug and not intended, because he already does insane damage, but being able to kill everyone trying to take cover in a large covered building.... seems odd. Same thing with all Valiants that have explosives, such as Wolf. His airstrike does the same. /EDIT: Recent hotfix fixed this issue I had. Airstrikes are still terrifying, and I haven't been caught in a building by a Panda Ult yet, so I dare say explosive piercing is gone. My next issue is the targeting for some abilities. You can let go of your mouse and the placement marker will move anytime a player moves in front of you. This has caused me to waste SO MANY ults because bots would run in front of me and clip me clicking to activate the ult. This is an issue I scream about constantly as I play Skunk. and her Ult is mostly battlefield control. So having brain dead bots/occasional idiot teammate clip me as I go to use it and mess up my placement makes me SCREAM. I hope they alter/adjust how targeting and placement for abilities works down the line. Ping system seems ehhhhh atm. I can't tell if my squad mates are pinging or not until I'm already dead and I look to where I was shot from while trying to revive them. Maybe it's the chaos of the game and I can't hear it or something. But I swear there are no radio call outs for pings. I'm sure they have it planned for further VA work. Speaking of voices. I do like that each character seems to exhibit personality from different nations.. but damn, Fox lady. Couldn't even stick to the naming scheme. Account page made me laugh. In a good way. Appreciate that. No drop downs. Just put your own answers in. Surprisingly I don't have an issue with animation lock. Skunk ult anim is quite long, even after the ability has been fired. It forces me to commit to it. Same with other Valiants. No issue there. Just the usual latency annoyance. also, the animations are quite nice. Really nice in fact. I love all the tactical sprint animations, and the little weaving some Valiants do while in the middle of a gun fight. Really makes the characters feel like they're actually in the fight. God I love this game. Menus seem to freeze up whenever I click to move to a new one. roughly a one second freeze each time. Can be a little annoying. Coupled with the 7-8gb ram usage in main menu, and 10+gb usage during a match. I've chalked that up to optimisation though. /EDIT: So this isn't an issue when the game is first launched, but the longer you play and the more menus you sift through, the longer the delay seems to get. Whenever I restarted due to a new hotfix or the game crashed (one time so far) the menus would be smooth and responsive. Possible a memory leak? I don't know, I'm not a game dev. Also, there is music. I know there is. I've heard it play a few times.. key word, a 'Few' times. As of this post I have around 20 hours and I think I've maybe heard the music for a total of... 20 minutes? It either just doesn't play or stops after a short duration. It's jarring.. But it's okay, we have yt playlists for that, am I right? /EDIT: As of last night's hotfix, I have ingame music again. c: Am sad that there is a battlepass for a paid game in early access.. Please don't lean into fomo or predatory practices. The premise so far is so damn fun, don't kill it for profit. /EDIT: I will be okay with persistent battlepasses that can be unlocked whenever and never disappear (See Helldivers2). I'm hoping this is the case with the removal of weekly BP EXP cap. Which I'm so happy about, as I hit cap so fast.. LOL. I wish there was a neutral recommendation. It's fun, but it has some issues in need of some serious work. However, I will keep it as a recommended because I haven't had genuinely this much fun in a hero/agent shooter in so long, and FURRIES. Skunk is so cute. I will get her to legendary. D:< Also, if it wasn't for sleep, I'd have more hours. -Edited additional opinions that I missed. And spelling. Cause I can't spell. -Second Edit. Update on ingame music, additional opinion on BP and follow up on Menu lag as well as providing some formatting (spaces) between each point.. Iuno I don't normally do lengthy reviews. Normally it's just something silly. -Third Edit. Update on explosive damage issue.
