Good classic arcade plane shooter. The precursor to War Thunder. Shame the online servers are dead.

Plays nice and still looks good on highest settings on Deck. Landscape modelling and cloud and sky rendering still have a special charm. Make sure to not register or connect to yuplay in startup config or ingame. Doesn't work anymore. Oh, and don't buy the addon for the same reason. In ingame options make sure to select the default controller preset which will work with the Steam Deck controller. Also make sure to reasign the target camera to your liking if you've got the back buttons disabled. Otherwise you can't progress in one of the tutorial mission. I'd also recommend to reasign modifier button for camera x and y axes to left stick button press, since pressing and moving a stick at the same time is always a struggle. After exiting the game from the main menu, you have to close the game finally by pressing the B button, because this yuplay client keeps running in the background. Still loving the game, one of my favorite arcade flight and fight games.

Great game that has stood the test of time. Whether you play arcade style or simulator style, this game is a very well-built combat flight game. My only wish is that this game included the Pacific war.

as an oap I can get a little bit negative when learning new stuff on the pc, this destroys the learning process so I like to keep it simple and that is what this game does. I especially like viewing the target at the press of a button and then swinging back on release. The closing speeds on bombers seem to be a tad slow but other wise no complaints.
