I had a lovely time playing and completing witchy business. it's adorable and very straightforward, which is my favorite type of game to play mindlessly while watching something. I would honestly recommend any rogue interactive games, especially for achievement-hunters. also! >﹏< I made the mistake of wiping my data accidentally, near the end of my completion. I reached out to the devs for support via discord and they were super friendly and helpful! I'm super grateful that I was able to get my progress back. ( ˘͈ ᵕ ˘͈♡) 10/10

This is one of those games that I can comfortably play first thing in the morning while sipping my coffee. It is a very simple , witchy store management game that is perfect to get you in the mood for a cozy, spooky season ^_^ The game play loop has you running a shop by day juggling different tasks. You are not only selling your crafted brews and relics but casting spells to ward off the bandits and telling fortunes. You get visits for custom orders, from mythical creatures who need your aid and drop off crafting materials and sometimes even shady folk visiting from Knockturn Alley. Also, bonus points because you get to feed treats to cats :D As you expand your shop, things speed up and become a bit more chaotic as you have more to manage but at no point is it stressful or punishing. If anything, it is appreciated because the initial loop is a bit boring and slow as you are standing around with nothing to do. You can up the difficulty mode if you find it a little 'too cozy'. But beware, this can only be done when you start the game. There is no option to change it later. Which is a little insane, given that I didn't realize how easy this game is on normal mode. So now I am stuck unless I want to lose all my progress. I would honestly suggest starting off harder than easier if you want it to be somewhat of a challenge. After the shop day, a small and limited map opens up. You can tend to a garden with options to unlock more perks, crafting materials and gold. You can visit a town vendor that gives you the opportunity to re-stock on last minute crafting materials. The town vendor is also a horrible little weasel. He visits your shop with the most annoying laugh trying to sell you goods at your own stall. Don’t click him. I avoid him at all costs -_- You will see!! You have an alchemy station, where you craft daily through mini games. I personally like how I don't have to memorize recipes, as there is a grimoire always open to remind me what ingredients are needed. That being said, for a challenge it would be nice to have an option to turn this off. There is also a little witch council, where you can idly chat with other witches and unlock new recipes. Take note to click on everything with the exclamation mark to get free items daily and don't forget the bulletin board at the witch's council!! I didn't notice that for DAYS. It will make your life easier and gives the game a bit more substance, with quests and objectives to work towards for monetary payouts. While I would recommend this game, I would do so ON SALE ONLY !! Given the minimalistic and repetitive nature of this game, there is no way it is worth more than $10 in my humble opinion. It is lacking in any real depth or substance to warrant the full price tag. You cannot even personally customize your character or shop, which is really disappointing. Visually, very beautiful game. Cute little find for the current sale price. Happy brewing, witches and warlocks!! EDIT: Be careful with clicking new game on the main menu. I accidentally clicked this and it automatically erased my previous save. There really should be a confirm button because that is just wild and unfortunate!!

5.5 Hours, got all achievements. Here are my pros and cons. Pros: - visuals are gorgeous, fit the vibe very well - gameplay loop is quite nice, flows well, easy to manage between days - decently varied inventory/objectives - the progression feels rewarding - the choice between items when upgrading spaces is excellent, especially being able to switch back and forth between them for what you need Cons: - 'random encounters' during the work day get boring after a while (eg. cat in slime, thieves, floating fairy) - no story to speak of, just an approval/gift system with some characters that we don't really get to interact with - no ability for creativity, even when experimenting with ingredients. it's either recipe or nothing (dangerous potion notwithstanding) - the sigil tracing wasn't terribly fun gameplay imo, at least not with a mouse - the tutorial seemed lacking in some parts, especially later game minigames like poisoning/cleansing and enchanting Conclusion: I recommend getting it for a short fun experience (maybe when it's on sale), but temper your expectations.

Okay wow WOW - if not for Silent Hill F releasing in a bit, I wouldn't have stopped playing! 3 hours flew by like it was nothing. I am a picky player, I love my cozy games but sometimes they don't get my attention right away and I have to come back later. HOWEVER, This one reeled me in like a black cat to a warm cauldron. Absolutely amazing! The gameplay is incredibly satisfying and rewarding, the art is gorgeous! Definitely don't let this one pass you by, one of the better store / job simulator games I have played in a while! Nothing but love! I am SO excited for everything to come by Rogue Duck Interactive. Count me in as a supporter! <3

I didn't even realise I had already been playing for 2.2 hours until I checked the time. 0.o I love this game so much. The art style is adorable and the music fits in so well with the game. The ability to upgrade your shop and sanctuary is very addicting! I love that you have control over how many customer orders you take per day - as not to overwhelm ones self - although in saying that ... I try to get as many orders as I can! I need those upgrades! It's a calm game, but not at all a boring game. If I didn't have to work tomorrow I would definitely have had more hours before I posted my review. I look forward to playing again tomorrow after work. Great price for a great game. Thank you ♥
