Overview Vending Machine Co. is a managing simulator where you can buy, decorate and upgrade vending machines in cutely designed towns. It is a great game to pass time in. You can keep it relaxing or up the difficulty (I personally played on normal). Pros The game's visuals are beautiful and sweet. Cartoon towns and npcs revolved around a Japanese theme. The customisation of the vending machines, your van, and all the products you can buy to put into the machines are fairly large so you can really make it unique to your own personal taste. The music is groovy and upbeat which helps you feel engaged. There's a few different ways to interact with the game other than packing the vending machines - in mini games (such as collecting money from the machines, duck feeding, fishing, claw machine, playing cards etc), cleaning/fixing the machines, checking analytics through the tablet, upgrading the market and unlocking new areas. It's fairly easy to manage early on and there's some lovely quality of life aspects especially in the later areas when you can start upgrading your truck. Cons Like all simulators there gets a point where the game feels super repetitive and unfortunately this is how I felt. It can get fairly overwhelming once you have unlocked all the areas, having to restock your machines more frequently, it felt more like a chore than a game - as I said earlier I did play on normal and I am uncertain if it's not as bad on the easy mode. But alas, it could also be user error lol. I want to use this space to let people know that the mini games can be quite buggy ESPECIALLY the fishing game. I would click the "catch" button and it wouldn't register my mouse as clicking so I would lose a lot of fish, which was very frustrating. Overall It is a fun cute game to pass time, which is why I will recommend it. Its likely a game I will come back to!

Summary: Really great game, very addicting once you get the ball rolling, and provides around 12 hours of content as is. Mini games are enjoyable but do become boring quite quickly, and a major mechanic might be hindering this games longetivity severely. ----------- - the gameplay loop is fantastic, perfect for a semi-idle where you can watch some shows or videos and play this on the side. It is NOT a full idle game however, you do have to be checking stock/repairs/timer often. - Mini games need a massive overhaul. Especially the Rhythm game. While yes it's very easy, it's also SO BORING, there's only one song right now and it's this slow af lofi beat that drives you insane after 2 days. Getting the achievement for playing it 10 times caused me a migraine. The Fishing mini game is fun, but a little buggy when the fish turns. If you're like me and are a little trigger happy, you'll miss more often than if you wait until the entire fish is inside the bar. Seems like the turning animation on the fish doesn't count if you click as it turns. Very strange. Claw Machine is fun, but again, so boring that it's a "why bother?". You get a single item that piles up on the floor outside, and yeah, you can sell them but again, why? I'd rather the claw machine be black market items exclusively that sell for way more. The Major Mechanic Problem So the games encourages you to rush expansion rather than upgrades, because it's cheaper. HOWEVER- this means that players will rush to unlock every area as fast as possible, and once they do that.... then what? I felt the game was finished once I unlocked the Metro (which btw, was wayyy too cheap). By rushing, you don't feel the need to upgrade things unless it gets tedious, and you end up feeling like the game is complete before you've really had to chance to actually play it. My suggestion for the devs: Make it so that you are encouraged to, instead, buy upgrades and out sell your rival in a single area, BEFORE you are allowed to progress to the next area. A reputation system where you need to meet a certain qouta of Rep before you're able to buyout their machine would be so much more enjoyable. Plus having areas gated behind beating the rival would increase game time by a LOT. So far, the game is FAST. Way too fast. Players are done before they've really started, because the start is slow, and the rest is lightspeed. By the time I had unlocked every area, I was making almost 8k a day, so unlocking the Metro was basically a 60 second waiting timer. Areas need to be gated, or WAY higher priced. Don't enourcage your players to finish the game as fast as possible! This isn't a speedrun type of game.

Stock from truck. Stock from truck. Stock from truck. This game is one of the best chill experiences for my little ADHD brain. Preferences in each district change every ten days or so. Stock up on those items or just sell what you want. Advertise. Choose the look of your vending machines. Load up your truck and do laps around town restocking and slowly adding features to your machines for make more money to buy more machines and add features and make more money and The only time lkmies are optional to engage with. Don't want the clock ticking down on your rental? But the machine instead. Dont want to be stressed about selling a certain amount of a certain product? Ignore that contract- no harm, no foul. There are a few small things that I expect they'll polish in the coming weeks based on the community tab. I've been playing this game for hours while listening to an audio book. Send help.

Nonstop fun so far—like, dangerously fun. The mini games? Absolutely addictive. Whoever added those clearly wanted me to never be productive again. Also, I’ve discovered something important: my shopaholic tendencies have officially made the jump into the game. I am, without fail, broke at all times. Virtual me has no financial literacy and zero self-control. If there’s something to buy, I will buy it… and then immediately wonder why I can’t afford anything else. 10/10 gameplay. 0/10 budgeting skills.
