Game is.....not bad for its price, the graphics are AI generated and really nice. In terms of graphics alone, its a major step up from other chinese cultivation based game. It is turn based so its not going to be action packed hack and slash kinda deal. Its more like a .... chinese final fantasy style or Chinese version of Adventure Quest but with AI graphics. Pros: - Great Graphics - Harem? Sexy Inn Keeper? or other Waifus? - Weird creative AI customizations - Its like watching one of those AI cultivation story videos on Youtube but you make the choices. - Pill creation? Yes Martial Arts? Yes Artifact Forging? Heck Yes Cons - Male Protaganist only with waifus. - Visual Stuttering at some parts of the game - Currently limited side stories or random encounters, you can almost time everything from looting herbs to rare creature respawns. - English translation is terrible, if you dont have cultivation based under pinning knowledge or know a bit of chinese, this can be a game breaker, also AI sometimes still generate chinese even if your chosen language is english. - Limited Content in this early release, I was surprised how fast I got to the end. More indepth analysis and comments for the Devs: - I wish some of the game aspects had a choice whether I had to re-do them or not. For example, pill/medicine creation, for recipes that I have discovered, when making them in batches, I wish there was an option, decided by the player, if they wanted to go through the pill making minigame. This can be said the same for the Meridian Unblocking minigame. I wish like there were tiers of healing requirement of patients, for example, mortals require up to level 3 healing before you can skip the minigame whereas qi refinement lvl 5, foundation establishment lvl 15 golden core requires maybe level 20? - Combat based synergies between the different elements and their respective skills, I wish they were less rigid, easier to synergize, for example, in my first gameplay I went for water and metal synergies, its either the enemies are so weak that the synergies dont matter or the enemies are so hard that setting up the skills to make it effective takes too long to set up. I would recommend either lowering the requirements for the synergies to activate or have them already in a one option synergized form after you hit a certain elemental level etc. It is really no fun to have to use 6-8 skills before you proc one synergy. Also the effects kind of feel lackluster at the moment. - Do you guys have a roadmap of your future releases? When will be the next update? What content can we look forward to? - want more random encounters whether it be rarer herbs, meeting random npcs you can steal or kill out in the open world , or rare creatures/enemies that pop up randomly that you can hide, run or fight.
It looks decent enough, for an AI, but English translation is non-existent, at this point of development. As for the gameplay, itself, I can't comment, due to the lack of translation. Right off the bat, at the beginning of the game, you get a single line translated in English and the rest just doesn't exist. So for all the English speakers, I suggest you wait with the purchase, until the translation is sorted out. I am giving it a positive, simply because I like the overall idea of the game, but as mentioned earlier, I do not recommend it, if you don't speak Chinese, just yet.
I really want to try enjoy the game and listen to the story, this type of game has always interested me and I always love the theme of whats going on, i was braught in by the art style, and AI elements and love i can talk to people how i feel like at the time in the hopes it impacts stuff later.. My problem lies in the fact that I play with english subtitles . I LOVE heaaring the native speak of the game as long as i can read and follow along im happy however spells and skills are not translated. quest naration goes 3-4 clicks in an freezes text while audio continues so i know theres more I can click it but nothing new pops up. If this gets addressed id love to really get to apperciate this game .
Being a Where Winds Meet player, this game caught my attention due its visuals. I really liked the game's idea, its artstyle and characters are beautiful and I think this is a good use of IA in a game (for my personal taste). I really wished the game had a better english translation. Many menus are lacking proper english text, and same goes for subtitles and dialogs. It's almost impossible to play a story driven game when I cant understand chinese. I understand this is early access and I hope this game gets a proper english translation. I really enjoyed my short time playing it and will definetely keep an eye out for new updates. I hope to be able to properly play it in a near future.
