so i finished the game - as of now it's not worth replaying. it has everything i love in chineese cultivation games - ADHD paradise. you constantly figure out new ways to build strong character, fighting against odds to max chosen stats and your build.

This is a very fun game to play even at Early Access. Currently, there is only one complete route, the Blood God sect route and only Alchemy is available. The other two routes are incomplete. Talisman Making and Artifact Refining are still in development. However, even at the current stage, there are lots of things to do in the game. The MC has an spell called Soul Search Art, which allows you to extract human's and monster's techniques and skills as your own. There is also a system for you to combine different techniques and skills into something completely new. There are hundreds of techniques and skills in the current game. So, there are many if not endless possibilities for you to explore. After playing the game for awhile, I develop a habit to check every monster and human for techniques and skills that I don't have and collect them all. :) This allows me to beat Core Formation enemies while in Foundation Establishment stage and Nascent Core enemies while in Core Formation stage during my first play through. There are endless possibility to become strong if you invest enough time into Technique Research and Spell Research. Making money in this game is quite easy, via Alchemy. You could buy Alchemy recipe and materials in Material shop available in all cities and from other cultivators. Then, craft the pills to boost your stats to become stronger. The extra could be sold for lots of Spirit Stones, which you could use to buy good equipment and gears set. Using the Creation Chaos Pearl allows you to gain EXP rapidly via killing enemies, making closed door cultivation unnecessary. You can level up from Foundation Establishment layer 1 to layer 9 after beating one or two secret realms. In the Blood God Sect route, you could obtain the materials for breakthrough, if you follow the story line. So, there is no grinding needed or break through complication like "鬼谷八荒 Tale of Immortal" or "觅长生 - Immortal Way of Life". There are some romance in this game. However, you can't gift break through materials to your waifus to trigger their break through like the other two games. Your waifus automatically level up as part of the story line. And you can't bring them along in your adventure. This game has decent story and good game play. It is also relaxing and easy. So, I enjoy it a lot and consider buying the game as worth it. So far, I'm still in the first play through and I'm at Nascent Core and chapter 6 of the Blood God Sect route. Very promising Xianxia RPG for those inclined to the genre. Only one route available, but it's clear the devs have a clear vision and aren't overly ambitious like other Chinese devs who promise too much, but fail to deliver. If the devs can achieve proper ENG TL for full release, then this game is basically must buy if you like Xianxia or cultivation related works.
