World of Goo is a puzzle game where you build strange, wobbly structures out of goo balls that stick together. Your goal is simple: connect the goo balls and get them to a pipe. As you progress, the game becomes more creative and challenging, with new types of goo and clever level design. There’s also a bit of story in the background, mostly told through signs left by a character called the Sign Painter, who adds a bit of mystery and humour along the way. Pros: - satisfying gameplay - connecting goo balls and watching your structure grow is pure fun… at least until the wind, spikes, or some other deadly danger tears it apart - creative level design - one minute you’re building a bridge or a tower, the next you’re destroying massive goo beauties just to cram them into the tiny pipe - many types of goo - some stick, some fly, some salivate, some are too big to fit in the pipe - they each add something new to the game - fun goo sounds - their little "wees" and squeaks are somehow very satisfying - the Sign Painter adds character - their witty messages are sometimes funny or just odd enough to make you curious - nice storytelling - it’s simple but engaging, and keeps you interested about what’s going on - great music - the soundtrack really sets the mood and makes the game feel more special - nostalgic and classic - it’s one of those games that sticks with you (pun intended) over the years - GOOd memories - I used to play it on my phone late at night under the covers as a child, and it still reminds me of that time – back when phones were half their size and my spine didn’t make that weird crack when I stood up Cons: - the visuals haven’t aged well - the graphics look old now and they can be a bit rough on the eyes If you’re looking for a puzzle game that’s both challenging and oddly relaxing, World of Goo is definitely worth a try - it’s a classic for a reason! Sure, the graphics might not have aged perfectly, but the game’s charm more than makes up for it. If you’re ready to dive into a bizarre world full of goo balls, give this game a go. I promise you’ll have a GOOd time! Check out and follow my curator page [url=https://store.steampowered.com/curator/45180175/] [PROS & CONS] for more reviews and recommendations from me!

All time classic! I played it in 2009 - 2010 as a kid, and it is still not outdated after about 15 years. You can just imagine how ground-breaking it was back in the time. The puzzle game also blends physics/civil engineering into its mechanism. And the storyline! It already talked about the intelligence tech, spirit of digitals, and consumerism back in 2008! Again, It is a pioneer that never gets old, cannot really believe just 2 people made it. The soundtrack is also classic, the visuals are smooth. Puzzle are well designed with good mechanism and appropriate level of difficulty. After finishing them, you can also think about the society of goo - ywhere do they go, and how will they be in the future - Looking forward to World of Goo 2!!

A legend in indie game history, World of Goo is a physics-based puzzle game about getting as many goo balls as possible into a pipe by constructing all sorts of structures (e.g. bridge) using these balls. Incredibly sophisticated physics allowing endless possibilities to solve the puzzles; Imaginative levels with optional OCD challenge often requiring mastery of the mechanics and out-of-the-box thinking; beautiful animation now remastered with high-resolution; wonderful audio design and sensational soundtracks; strange lore and world-building imbued with dark humour… This is a title to behold and pay tribute to. Even if you are not into physics/puzzle games (I am not, and I have no intention to finish the game), you should have it and see what merely two indie developers can achieve, in 2008!
