I never knew this game existed, until I bought it on sale. Quite addictive and has a lot heart.

It's fun to play a retro-like game for the novelty to mix it up. This game is a simplistic dungeon-crawling game with some cutesy elements. I like the idea of eating food to level up (hey, what game can you play where you can eat food like pizza to gain XP?). The game is far from perfect. The story won't wow your socks off, and the game is quite easy to cheese. Exploring the dungeons is made a tad tedious because there isn't an option to open up a bigger map to navigate. It's not like the dungeons are complicated, but there are often times where you just accidentally take a wrong turn down the same path you just ran through already. A proper map that you could open up would have done wonders. Still, it's a decent game if you want that retro-feeling itch scratched.

If you like Ys or Gurumin then you are almost 100% certain to enjoy this hidden gem. It's comfort food. A cute simple game, more than interesting enough to keep you playing. Never takes itself too seriously while having solid gameplay. One of the many games that make Falcom one of my favorite companies, I'd put the gameplay of their games up there with with Dragon Quest and Kingdom Hearts but with a much more fun English localization. (if you get stuck on some of the vague parts the only decent guide is the acheivmnet guide though)

Pro and cons. Pro: i like the story and the game play of the game the music is fun as well, i enjoy the design cause it give me ps2 or ps1 energy with a hint of sas, the character alwen i enjoy her personality which kept me going when certain things drag through the game. con: you not allowed to change the size of the window, and cant change the size of the text, sometimes the figuring out where to go in the game can be a slight well lost in space energy, so i wish they had a wave point but in truth this is a old game so yeah i can take it away but all for not this game is fun to play i would give it a 8/10 rating and affordable ya'll the price for it is affordable

The combat is mindless mashing and/or kiting at best, mildly annoying (especially during bossfights) at worst. Though it's not very tight, the game is not very challenging either, so no big deal, tanking some hits and healing up works just fine. It is pretty satisfying seeing the loot fly out of the enemies Music and voice acting are very good, but the voices in some cutscenes get drowned out by the music Would seem like an ok game for kids, but the characters say "sh!t" and "b!tch" Story is alright, the characters are good. I was engaged The dungeon design is pretty fun for what it's worth, and the graphics are pleasant Crashed more than a couple times for me and the cutscenes are unskippable...And there's a hefty amount of them Sometimes, the game would use items or switch weapons without my input when using a controller, which can be annoying if you're trying to save up food to trade up... A pretty good game, but not an easy recommend. If you're looking for SOUL, you'll probably enjoy it. Otherwise, the gameplay itself might not hold your attention for long
