интересная игра в которой поднимаются много относительно простых но часто тревожащих общество философских вопросов, также сюжет достаточно интересный и часто заставляет сомневаться в выборе своих ответов. я считаю, игра определенно стоит своих денег.

I played this game long ago on my phone, now that i'm older it still feels catchy, the story is just to great and the different paths you can follow even tough you only have 2 decisions at a time the game manages to branch in so many ways, making the story to be replayable. also teh characters are great too. there is another game about argo but its not on steam sadly. definetly a must play in your life even if you dont really like choice games, the story is just amazing

7Days Origins is a compact but emotionally charged narrative adventure that blends visual-novel storytelling with a branching, choice-driven structure. Developed and published by Buff Studio, the game places you in the role of Kirel, a young man who suddenly awakens without his memories and finds himself drawn into a strange, liminal realm where a group of other lost souls are struggling to understand their situation. A mysterious force informs you that you have seven days to make critical decisions—choices that will determine not only your fate, but also the destinies of the people you meet along the way. The setup is simple, but the story revels in the tension between uncertainty and curiosity, encouraging players to learn about each character’s past and uncover the hidden rules governing the world they now inhabit. The visual and narrative presentation is streamlined but effective. Most of the storytelling unfolds through character portraits, stylized backgrounds, and instant-message style dialogue, creating a modern, text-centric delivery that suits its introspective tone. The writing leans heavily on mood and atmosphere, weaving a sense of mystery that slowly thickens as you uncover each character’s secret motivations. Even with its minimalist art style, the game does well in setting a somber, reflective mood. Every conversation feels intentional, directing your attention toward emotional nuance and the potential consequences of your actions. Music and sound cues are understated but enhance the contemplative pacing, allowing quiet moments to resonate. Where 7Days Origins shines is in its replayability. The entire experience is designed around branching decisions and multiple endings, and each playthrough reveals only a fraction of the larger narrative web. Your dialogue choices influence character trust, unlock key memory fragments, and shape the path toward one of several possible conclusions. The order in which you encounter characters can change, and certain storylines become available only when you pursue specific emotional or moral directions. This structure invites experimentation—one run may paint a character as an ally, while another run reveals a darker side of their past. The game rewards curiosity and encourages players to explore different perspectives on the same events, lending the narrative a layered quality. However, the game’s modest scope also presents limitations. While players are encouraged to make meaningful decisions, some outcomes feel narrower than expected, and certain dialogue branches loop back to shared narrative beats regardless of the path chosen. This can create a sense that the story is less reactive than it initially appears. The lack of a robust skip function or flexible save system also complicates replay attempts, requiring players to click through previously read text even when the story only diverges slightly. Small technical quirks—like inconsistent translation, uneven pacing between major story reveals, or abrupt transitions—occasionally undermine the emotional immersion. Despite these shortcomings, 7Days Origins remains an engaging and worthwhile experience, especially for fans of introspective, narratively driven games. Its compact length makes it easy to revisit, and its branching paths offer enough variety to make multiple runs feel distinct rather than repetitive. More importantly, the game’s heart lies in exploring themes of regret, personal responsibility, trust, and the search for redemption. By confronting players with morally ambiguous decisions and emotionally charged interactions, it encourages reflection rather than spectacle. As a whole, 7Days Origins succeeds as a small but sincere narrative adventure. It doesn’t aspire to the complexity of large-scale visual novels or the mechanical depth of hybrid RPGs, but it delivers a focused, atmospheric story that rewards thoughtful choices and emotional investment. It’s an ideal experience for players who appreciate interactive fiction with moral weight, multiple endings, and character-driven storytelling. Rating: 8/10

Interesting story and cool art. Each playthrough is relatively short and gradually builds up to give you a full picture of events. I found the characters compelling.

This is a visual novel with a branching story, that is the definition of a “choices matter” game. If you're looking for a good story, interesting characters and a game where every choice shapes your path differently, this will be right down your alley. PROS +++ Pretty original story that is uncovered little by little and in a non-linear way, depending on your choices +++ Unique characters with interesting background stories +++ Lively dialogue with lots of options to choose from +++ Lots of branching paths you can take in order to get to the ending +++ The main character’s personality can vary greatly from playthrough to playthrough, depending on your dialogue choices ++ Four different endings ++ Likeability mechanic that shapes your path in each playthrough ++ Significant replay factor + Lots of different checkpoints to choose from, in order to get to paths you've previously missed + Fitting (if only a bit repetitive) soundtrack CONS -- No dialogue skipping option, which forces you to endless clicking when seeking different outcomes through paths you’ve already visited -- Confusing auto-save system, no manual saving feature -- Very few achievements considering the game length, and most of them are pretty obscure - Game’s mouse-only, no keyboard function CONCLUSION If not for a few (annoying) cons, this would be the perfect “choices matter” visual novel. Even as it is, it’s worth every penny of its asking price and will get you hooked from the get go. Tip: There is a Fandom page outside of Steam, where you can find the different requirements for the game’s timeline. I suggest you check it out only after you begin ending up in the same paths, despite your efforts to get to different ones.
